Lets rejoice everyone, two journalists that finally speak some sense.

Whenever Liverpool play Chelsea, the fans sing a song about history. Chelsea have none, apparently, whereas Liverpool, with five European Cups and 18 league titles, have an abundance.

This is not strictly true, of course. What Liverpool’s 23 trophies represent is achievement; history is just stuff that has happened, good, bad or indifferent. Every football club has history, even Milton Keynes Dons, and certainly one such as Chelsea that dates back more than a century.

SO READING'S season is a fairy tale is it? Excuse me for a second while I decide whether to giggle or gag.

Okay, that wasn't too hard. I'll gag. Because I don't see any fairy story at Reading. I don't see romance, either.

I'll be honest. I don't like the club. I don't like what it stands for.

That starts at the top with a self-satisfied poster boy of conspicuous consumption and Tory donor, chairman John Madejski.

Go figure that players who are useful in the team, like Terry and Robben, take forever and a day to recover, but players who don't deserve to be in the first eleven, like Ballack and Cole, recover faster than expected.

Here's hoping Bridge starts every game at LB for the rest of the season, no matter how healthy Cole is.

man that's so ******* cruel. it's like they have made sure we wont win anything.
6 weeks? i could not watch but what happened? i mean, did we rush him back and did the initial problem aggreveate?
how long is boula out?

why not ballack at CB for a while? i mean he's been average at best this season, maybe this will help.

i know this may sound stupid, but is there any way of getting glen johnson back? i've heard the utd fans talking of bringing back their on loan keepers.

Hmm not sure how they'd have come to that conclusion so quickly. Would have thought the swelling would have been too bad.

Still nonetheless we'll be losing another great player in Essien having to slot into defence but it may have a positive effect in that:

a) If we still insist on the diamond, then Mikel will get in the team.

b) Or we'll revert back to a 4-3-3

Luckily though one thing they do know was it was just a sprain, and it wasn't the same ankle he done in training the day before.

Do you have a link to that, as I was under the impression that it was his right ankle both times?

Hopefully to the bench, it would be cruel to sit Bridge for Cole for the Cup or ever really

I could have sworn I saw his right ankle getting treatment during that training session on SSN.

I'll take your word for it.

TERRY MAY BE BACK NEXT WEEKEND
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho this afternoon revealed he expects captain John Terry to be back in contention for next weekend's Barclays Premiership match at Portsmouth.

The England skipper suffered an ankle injury during the midweek Champions League draw with Porto and it was feared the defender - who had only just returned after being sidelined by a back problem - could be facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines.

However, speaking at today's press conference ahead of the Carling Cup final, Mourinho told reporters: "I think he should be playing next weekend."

Phhhhhheeeeeeeewwwwww!!!!!!!! Here's hoping.
