Yesterday on the Veracruz vs. San Luis telecast, Jorge Ramos called Michael Orozco, a defender for San Luis, "el estadounidense".
Any truth to this? Is he well-known and I'm just not paying attention?

Jorge Ramos? my country man? I thought he was just doing radio and some Libertadores spots.
Michael Orozco is another Hines or Rossi type? Or just more Daniel Hernandez deal?

I was going to post this ... Orozco was at fault for the losing goal.
He was covering a low cross but misplayed it while at the top of the 6-yard box and the ball ricocheted to an unmarked forward, who tapped it into the open net.

JR does the one game a week or so that FSE gets of the Mexican League.
To tell the truth, I saw far too little of Orozco to judge him. He was at fault for a flubbed clearance on the goal--sort of--but San Luis was blowing goals left and right up front and Chacho Caudet had already been sent off for a ridiculous two-footed tackle. They had 10 men at the time.
Orozco won't be the focus of the post-game talk, I don't think. Caudet's stupidity and the forwards' bad aim will be. San Luis should've won this game.

Michael went 90 min again vs. Toluca.
He was featured prominently in the highlight reel goal by Vicente Sanchez but that was the only goal St. Luis gave up.
Toluca is suffering without Bruno Marioni.
