After watching Carlos freeze Taylor out the entire first half (all 30 minutes of fit) I wanted to grab him by his golden locks and plant his ancient butt squarely on the pine. Not one pass came his way from the "Great" distributor but many were directed at Ruiz. It really sucked and ruined TnT's chances to show what he can do. It's no wonder that things started going better for the MLS when he got thre Hell out of the game. Hope I never have to watch him jog around at another "All Star" game again.

The weather had much to do with TT's lack of opportunity, but I agree that Valderrama was definitely avoiding TT.
Just as in this game, in the last Rev-Colorado game, Valdy was also a non-factor. Could he be over the hill?
It was nice to note that both Bruce Arena and John Harkes, when asked who were the young players to watch, named TT first.

TnT didn't need to do anything today to catch Bruce's attention. I think we can count on him getting a call up for the first International.

He would have netted one had he played in the second half, guaranteed.
Though Meola and Sommer didn't look very good today.

From what I saw out there, Twellman is a better forward then Ruiz, because Twellman comes back on midfield, passes it to a midfielder, then makes a run that usually beats alot of defenders. He wasn't givin the chance to track down one of those balls, maybe because one wasnt distributed to him. I do think Arena was impressed that he came back and helped, and I do thin Arena was impressed, and that goals for Twellman will come.
