If the quakes make it to the final...

When the Quakes make the final I'm considering going. Just not sure if it's gonna work out for me. I say that now though and I'll probably go when it comes down to it.

I'll be living in Boston as of August 20, so you can safely say I'll be there (probably even if, horror of horrors, our lads don't make it).

Anyone know what date the game is?

Sunday October 20.

I won't decide until September 21 at the latest. The issue right now is whether or not the Quakes get the regular season title and if they do, a few of us will be there to see the Supporter's Shield in our hands.

and hopefully earn another trophy in the process, the one that counts!

One of my friends (fairjosette) is moving to Rhode Island in a few weeks, and I may just have to pay her a visit if the Quakes (or, on a long shot, the Crew) make the MLS Cup final. My husband will probably be working at a K-College football game and so I might be able to travel on my own to see her, if I can afford it. The only problem is that I have class at 1pm on Monday afternoon and then at 6:30 Monday night so I'd have to be creative with scheduling my flights.

But then again, I'm trying to save up for spring break (to Halifax) and also spring term at ULaval again, so I don't know if I can afford it. We'll see.
