10 AM EST in the States on Saturday. I'll be happy if we can take a point away from home and then head into a massive game with QPR on Tuesday with the chance to jump out of the relegation zone.

We give up another late first half goal!

Really disappointing. It sounded like we had the better chances in the half, except for the last five minutes or so. But we have another half to play, and anything can happen!

Anybody see the goal? Was it worth a crap?

Just in case someone out there needs a radio feed:

Didn't see the goal, but it was a free kick from right outside the box so I would imagine that it probably had some quality to it.

I wish I could, but the best I've got is the radio feed from Cardiff. If I remember correctly, it was a handball in the box...Ooh, Walton's off for dissent. They're down two men, we need to get something out of this.

This is all starting to remind me of last year's push for second, where results were in our favour, but we couldn't capitalise...except failure to capitalise this year means relegation.

Ah, final whistle, 1-0. Terrible, especially since we ended up being up two men. :(

You were lucky to have the ref make the result look nice on you, to be honest. Clattenburg had an absolute shocker.
First half was quite even, Cardiff were slightly better but 0-0 was fair, until Chopra's great free kick. Chopra's first yellow was for near-on nothing, Walton shouldn't have had either card - it wasn't dissent, it was for a "tackle", where a Leeds player clearly dived - he then went absolutely apeshit and had to get pulled off the pitch. A third Cardiff player got carded for a "dive", where he'd had his shirt pulled and should have got a free kick and later on should have had a yellow near the end, but didn't get one cause Clattenburg stopped just as he was going for his pocket. Meanwhile, the penalty should have been a straight red but wasn't even a card, cause it was going in when he handled it around the post. Good save though. There was also another potential penalty that got turned down. And the 4 minute stoppage turned into 8 as soon as it looked like Leeds might equalise (although Leeds were no threat until it was 11v9 and was more likely to be 2-0 than anything till then). Few good chances for Leeds near the end, but Cardiff were pretty solid and had a few decent counters.
Oh, and Leeds fans kicked off too. Tried to break through the stewards, huge numbers of police swarmed in to reinforce it and drag off a few who'd got through.

At least Barnsley didn't make any ground on us. Could have used that point desperately though. This game in hand is going to be huge.
