No way this team can compete with our Mengao at the Maraca....what do you think we'll get for attendance next wed...60 to 70k? The venezuelans will never know what hit them....Anyway, 1 point under these terrible conditions and 3 at home next week will be a great start.

It depends how many sets FERJ will liberate. I think we should have about 70k fans in Maracanã for next weeks game against Maracaibo.

Funny haw you posted about the ad reffing in the game AGAINST flamengo but you made no mention that Obinas goal was OFFSIDE even Globo said it was! Shame on you Mengao86!

When I posted the goal, I was too excited that I didn't even know it was offside. It was in offsides position slightly, but Real Potosi's second goal was as well.

What is really funny is that you said Libertadores reffing is better than the Brasileirão! Horrible officiating last night, just horrible!

Flamengo divulged a note today saying they will no longer play in very elevated locales.

What the hell kind of call was that when Potosi was up 1 x 0....Renato Augusto scored right in the middle of the goal...the ref said the ball went in from the side...complete insanity!!!....(a) if the ball went in from the side, on the video the ball would be covered at some point by the post, but this never happens (b) shouldn't the ref go check the net if there is a hole in it, so it doesn't happen again??

Lets see how Macaraibo and Parana handle the altitude...in 93 WCQ brazil lost 2 x 0 to bolivia in la paz...on the home game we killed bolivia 6 x 0 (5 x 0 at halftime)

---------

Obina's goal might have been offiside, but the second Potosi goal was even more clear......so to sum it up 2 offiside goals (one each), and one goal taken away for no logical reason (from flamengo)....well I'm not a math major, but I would say Fla 2 X 1 RP would be the final score with a good ref.

Foxsports espanol has anounced the telecast for Feb and March:

A tie in those conditions were a good result for Flamengo. I think it shows that we are here to compete for the title.

There is also another factor that people aren't considering about last night's game. This is Flamengo's first Libertadores game in 5 years. I am sure most of those players were nervous about the game. Next game we will be playing with our fans supporting us. :)

MOST PEOPLE ON THE iNTER oRKUT SAID IF pOTASI WAS ANYGOOD THEY COULD HAVE EASILY WON BY 8 GOALS CAUSE Postao missed so many easy goals.

Real Potosí missed a lot of chances but I think Inter Orkut is exaggerating a bit just so they can see a weakness in their fellow Brazilian counterparts in the Libertadores. :)

I gotta say Im rooting for the Bigger teams to lose or Tie...because remember ( I know you are new to Libertadores heheh) each team is fighting against the other to finish in top 16. Last year Inter finished 2 behind Velez I think and that why we had home field advantage all libertadores. So the more ties I see the better because that means everyone is losing points.

Im just pissed Velz won their first away. But Boca San Pablo Fla all tieing was good for me...

The thing is that Flamengo probably tied their hardest game of the group stages. Inter tied Maracaibo last year in Venezuela so we will see how Fla will handle them there.

Flamengos BITCHING about the altitude and saying they wont play there anymore is rediculous and typical of these spoiled Carioca teams...what a bunch of panzies....Potosi now says sarcastically that they wont play in Rio because it is too hot.....

you wont see a Gaucho team say they wont play in the altitude....

No Brazilian team has played in 4000m before until Flamengo just did. Maybe Real Potosi will advance and you can take them on there and see how you like it.

Old news this altitude stuff.

The truth is that no one ever died playing in altitude but quite a few have died for playing in high temperatures. however, it sure feels like you've died! :)

Go to the Libertadores forum and read my posts.

None of the games in Rio will be played during the daytime. When Potosi visits us in April, it will be at nighttime (like the rest of the games) and the temperature will be around 18 celsius. Is that too hot for you guys?

Fla got crushed by Madureira today 4x1. Fortunatly I wasn't able to see the game or hear it, so I have no idea what happened or who played.

What Flamengo does or doesn't do is not the point. The point is that altitude is not dangerous. It's an advantage but it's not dangerous.

So basically when someone dies, that is when action should be taken?
