Let's pray that our fine home form carries over to this fixture. I know the lads have got to be a little bit tired, but I am quite thrilled with the way our young ones have stepped it up.

My Prediction: 2-0 to The Arsenal...those thugs aren't stopping us at home.

GO ON ARSENAL!!

Prediction 2-1

Let's finish this game without having to go to a replay.

MGP still out?

If so, Blackburn will be fairly toothless, and as we actually have a fitness advantage, considering squad size, I'm confident for this one.

The good news is that Blackburn had a midweek match as well.

Not that I ever get these right but I'm wondering what our lineup will look like.

Eboue is back, right? I have to think he'll be in if fit. Djourou perhaps slides back to the middle? I'm wondering if Clichy needs a break. He has been playing an awful lot and he put in a lot of hard minutes today.

I have to think that Rosicky and Walcott will be our wide players. Cesc and Silva in the middle.

Up front it has to be TH14 and Aliadiere. Ade and Baps absolutely gave it their all today.

I'm more concerned about toure needing a rest. He has played almost every minute of every game in every competition.

Gallas needs to get back fast so we can give toure a 2-3 game rest.

Agreed. Toure always gives his all, but he's looked a bit fatigued lately. It'll be nice when we have 4 healthy central defenders again. It'd be nice to see Gallas give Clichy a spell too, but not sure if Wenger will want to do that -- as I recall Gallas was miffed because Mourhino wanted him to play fullback instead of his preferred role in central defense.

As for the game, 2-0 Arsenal. We're due for a clean sheet.

This shouldn't be a hard game, but then again, we're arsenal in the 2006-2007 season.

I'd like to play a side similar to the one minus Kolo (Clichy-Senderos-Djourou-Eboue/Hoyte as our back four) and with Aliadiere on for Adebayor.

I think Cesc and Henry should both be rested because we'll need them both for Eindhoven.

Won't Cesc be needing a rest? He's played every Premiership match so far, and I think we'd fare better with a bit more steel in the centre of the park against Blackburn. would be a good chance for Diaby to get some playing time.

My only request for this tie would be a clean sheet, since I'm sure that the Gunners will win it on home turf by three goals.
That would mean no lead for the guest for a change.:p
Pretty please, pretty please with sugar on top.

I think part of our financing package for the new stadim dictates that we start every game at AG down 0-1, at least until we repay the banks.

I am also getting worried that Kolo Toure is getting tired. I have seen him play full games in all competitions these season and even though he was okay today, there were times when he look very tired and loosely gave the ball away or was beaten to a ball.

I hope Eboue can come back this weekend and Senderos too, so that we can give him a rest this weekend considering we have PSV on Tuesday and Chelsea next weekend.

I believe big Phil is still suspended for Saturday, correct?

Rest whoever we can with the CL game midweek, in mind. If Flamini is fit let him slot into Gilberto's role. Start Ali alongside Henry. Let Freddie start.

All the players that played the full 120 minutes need a break but there is no-one to replace Toure at the back

Is he? I thought it was 3 games for a straight red. Is that only for "violent conduct"?

1 game suspension for the red plus another game for it being his 2nd suspension of the season. I think Gilberto got 3 games for "violent conduct"
