I don't agree with colombo. I think our group and Brazil's group are the same. Brazil Argentina are almost the same, Mexico Chile & Ecuador are no stronger then Colombia, Paraguay and USA. I think it'll gonna be great tournament, I just hope that all the teams will come with their strongest squads.

Ecuador > Colombia
Chile < Paraguay
Mexico = USA

Conclusion: groups are equally tough.
Prediction: Brazil-Mexico / Argentina - Paraguay will qualify to next round
I do not know about 3rd places though.

u guys couldnt beat our sub 20 that lost to panama 2x in copa oro....

and ecuador is only a good team at home away they suck...

Acuerdense que toca mirar todos los grupos, porque tambien pasan los dos mejores terceros. Lo unico Claro es que a Uruguay le regalaron la clasificacion desde ya, porque esta en un grupo muy debil, y aunque pierda con Venezuela ambos, Charruas y Vinotintos deben ganar sus otros dos compromisos..

Argentina, Paraguay, y USA son equipos diferentes, si, pero que nos complican......si no nos ponemos las pilas, quedamos por fuera.

no creo que mexico se quede por fuera, ese equipo le daña el caminado a uno de su grupo, y pasa ya sea segundo o tercero.

yo creo que cada grp esta muy nivelado
el de venezuela, todos de su nivel!
el de brazil...cualquier cosa puede pasar con chile y sorpresas de Ecuador
el de argentina/colombia.....no se sabe como llegaran los cafeteros, USA muy fisico y paraguay que no afloja delante de nadie (somos los 4th en papel?)

I have to say, this may be the best Copa America in the last 15 years. Also, the fact that CONMEBOL finally decided to make the CA a 4 year tournament to make it "special" is going to only add to the tourney!

this is very tough group but as much as we can eliminated after the first round, we also can qualify from the first place. our group in the Copa 1999 wasn't easy as well but we won all the games, including the 2nd match vs. Argentina, on July 4th 1999, 3:0. this time the 2nd match is going to be also vs. Argentina, on July 2nd, the memorial day of Andres Escobar. I hope that Pinto will invite the best squad of us, we have very talented players, but Pinto needs to change our stratagy. play more on the flanks, not just through the middle. I hope that all the teams will bring their strongest squads, to bring this tournament the glory it had on the early 90's....I'm counting on our boys, who can obviously play much better. this is very important preperation becouse I dont think I can tolerate another WC elimination.

Funny thing,,,they said the same about us in el Mundial. I will give you this, our record in Copa America SUCKS!!! But I do think at this point colombia is not better than us, and we are very committed to achieving something this Copa America. Creo que tenemos un buen equipo y un buen criterio de lo que queremos.

when does ecuador win away from home... how they finish last time???

u guys are bad, maybe worse than venezulea and peru.. only thing that saves u is Quito thats it

and if u are better than us why do u need our players to make ur league better, and why do u need our coachs to qualify u???

in nuetral ground Ecuador is prob 8th-10th because at least boliva wins games away from home... and the WC colombia with a C team did just as good as u guys did against the same teams
