it'll be real interesting to see how many changes are made from the players who went a whole 120 tonight, on Saturday...

I've got a case of the twitchy shakes after that. That was a clinic in how not to finish off and kill a game.
I didn't think the penalty on Anelka was a penalty as contact was initiated outside the box. It looked like the Senderos foul against 'Boro. Still, Anelka should have been sent off, penalty or no penalty.

Depends on how people hold up. Hleb seemed to be tightening up when he left. I would expect Senderos back in with Toure and Gilberto back in the center with Cesc.

Is Denilson Brazilian or Kenyan? That kid can run all day!

I think that Arsene will say to Henry and Fab "Listen, I gave you the night off on what turned out to be the most exhausting game this year. You owe me. Go out and win this game."
Any idea as to whether/where it will be on tv?

this is on the Soccernet frontpage:
"Arsenal were made to pay for Gilberto Silva's horrific penalty miss in the 64th minute - his effort finding row ZZ."

Can someone post the last two goals when you get a chance? Much thanks.

the craziest match i have ever seen... Denilson... easily the best player on the field... easily... Diaby was shaky and brilliant... would turn the ball over and then create a perfect chance... but Denilson... wow

Well my evening is ruined now. I can't even go to bed because I can't sleep sober. I should have watched the Brit Awards instead.

Ok can we all please come down from the Denilson "high" following his amazing Carling cup performance. He was good in spurts tonight. Great first half, wasn't focused and turned the ball over a ton in the second half, and had a very strong finish to extra time.
As far as him being able to replace Fabregas right now, there's no way. Physically, he's very comparable to Fabregas and probably a bit stronger. However, Fabregas is an amazing tackler, world class passer and rarely finds himself mentally out of sorts regardless of the importance of the match. Denilson has made great strides towards becoming a great CM for Arsenal but lets not forget how important Fabregas is to the team.

This team showed great great charcter, no Cesc or Henry and missed 2 golden chances to win the game at the end of the 90 minsutes and still won, I think it was the stamina that won as the game, Bolton's players are really old and couldn't run at extra time

Denilson is a Massive talent! What a Gem....Definitely Arsene knows :)
The game was almost comical at the end with Baptista missing his penalty as well. It could have been easily 5 or 6-0!
Hopefully, Big Sam will shut up after that loss!

Actually we played better in extra time. We played dreadfully throughout the first 90, the defending was shocking.
