Poor Timmay has to play for Everton. Ugh. I hope he tears up the Prem again though.

Tim-Timminy-Tim-Timminy-Tim-Tim-Taroo, you play for the scousers, but at least it's not 'Poo . . .

I meant that I didn't see Motter doing the ol' switcheroo. That was surprising. We all knew Timmay was gone.

Actually, considering who it was, I knew it was finally legit before clicking on the thread.

Good for Howard. He's a very good keeper, and I think he could have made it here if given a second chance. But after the VDS contract talks, his days were over. He's still going to be America's number 1, and a great player for maybe another decade.

Very well-deserved contract. Tim is one of the best keepers in the world, no doubt about it.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

--

Even I almost spit out my drink when I saw that one.

In the spirit of improving this board, should we allow the poster to justify the hyperbole?

Absolutely not... He'll just spew off about how Landy Cakes would tear up the Prem, and that the USMNT was robbed this summer in the World cup... Oh and he's probably a Chelski supporter as well...

Hey, wait a minute. Donovan scored an impressive goal in a meaningless exhibition. Doesn't that change your mind?

And as for the World Cup, we went toe to toe with the eventual champions and only lost because we stupidly got two players sent off. And couldn't defend on a set piece. And couldn't score.

In your face!

Good for Timmay. This should be a great move for him to get his career back on track. It's incredible how a few howlers can derail a career so quickly. Besides perhaps strikers, GK need confidence the most of any position on a team.

I think this was inevitable with the re-signing of VDS, and especially the emergence of Foster. Now lets wait to see if Foster has the mental makeup to handle all the BS abuse he will undoubtedly receive. ;)
