Who would you be? Taking a look at yourself and at players past and present who would you be and why?
I personally believe i can see myself as a goalie like Angelo Peruzzi, I was never the quickest or most agile goalie but i had great skill at positioning myself and great reflexes which i feel were his biggest strengths

Probably Hierro o Maldini. Solid defensive Players, Both Playmakers and with Clarity of thought while playing on the pitch.

When I'm at striker:
Brian McBride. I'm not exactly big (5'10") but I am very strong at heading the ball (for example 8 of my 12 goals last fall came off my head) and can leap higher than most defenders expect me to be able to which brings an element of surprise on the first cross in. I also act like a target man if you will on goal kicks and punts. My job is to pretty much distribute the ball with flick ons or winning headers to the midfielders.
When I'm in the midfield:
Roy Keane. Like I said before, I'm definitely not the biggest person out there but I can be hack and a really cheap/physical player. I'm pretty sound tactically as well although I usually play out on the wing and not in the central midfield.

off the pitch: george best (except the later years)
on the pitch: maybe hierro. I don't know who was a really dirty sweeper?
I played sweeper and my dad taught me all the oddest trick in the book. He basically told me that when you play their are two games, the one with the opponent and the one with the refs.hehe

I'd be Jantje Wouters.
I'd elbow Gascoine right in the face and make him wear a mask for half a year. The phantom of the opera :D

former Real Madrid striker Hugo Sanchez. man that fro was the coolest and with the chilenas (bicycle kicks) it seemed to float as ... maybe that was what made it easy for him to do flips after goals.

David Ginola, pure genious and the most enjoyable player I have ever had the pleasure to watch. As I play left wing myself he has always been my idol, even before he was at Spurs.

Well, I wanted to say Jurgen Klinsmann, but I've never taken a dive in my life, so that's out.
There aren't too many 5'8", fat goalkeepers out there to model myself after...

Dirty Dutch bastard. We would have won the 94 World Cup if Gazza had been fit for qualifying.
And if we'd had any other good players

So I did...... well apart from having Graham Taylor as manager, and being represented on the pitch by the likes of Carlton Palmer, Andy Sinton (even though he is ex-Cambridge :D) and Tony Dorigo.....
.... that World Cup was as good as ours :D

You'd be a shite cheating fat ************ who couldn't stop Gascoigne except for elbowing him. What a bigman.
I'd be Beckenbaur cos i can bring the ball out from the back.
Zidane cos i'm a playmaker
Van Nistelrooy cos i can hold the ball up and my finishing is good.
In goal i'm shite so i'd probably be Dave Beasant.

I'd like to see myself as David Seaman when i get older. Right now, I'm like nobody. I'm just me.

David Beckham : Not too flashy, i have great passing and my long ball's are acurate to say the least but one of my strenghts would be the Free kicks !!! Almost play the same except i tend to dribble more and hold the ball Longer..

on occasion i've been critisized for holding the ball too long, i keep posession well and have good foot skill. The reason i hold the ball for as long as i do is because im waiting for plays to open up, strikers to make runs, wingers to overlap, etc. I rarely lose posession, and it seems the longer i hold the ball, the more chances it creates.
If i would compare the way i play the game to a current player, it would probably be either Edgar Davids for my ability to always find an open man, or Shevchenko because im a poacher when i play up top, and i finish well.

I have to say Batistuta, (fiorentina and 1st season Roma) because one, I am just that damn pretty, and two while not the fasted player I have enough speed and finesse to get into scoring positions, even if the goals aren't always the prettiest. Oh yeah, and that tremendous amount of heart the guy has...and mean streak :D
