Late goals from Jose Luis Seabra and Earl Jean gave 10-man W Connection a surprising 2-1 win over Mexico's Chivas in a CONCACAF Champions Cup first-leg quarterfinal on Tuesday.

Shouldn't this thread have an [R] and a new title?

Wow. I wonder how strong a lineup Chivas put out there. That's pretty hilarious.

It should - mods can you add the [R].
My apologies.

You might want to change the thread title as well...

Does anyone know why FSC is NOT showing the tape delayed coverage of this match right now as was scheduled? It they did a crawl at the bottom of the screen I missed it.

I think they're showing it tomorrow night.

A couple of thoughts from one of the forum mods:
1) Even if you add an [R], the title kind of gives the result away! :)
2) Neither W Connection nor Chivas of Guadalajara plays in MLS, so this isn't the right forum for the thread regardless. The North America and CONCACAF board would be a good place for general discussion. And so it'll be moved!

Yup. Updated schedule on foxsoccer.com shows the match will be broadcast at 11pm tomorrow night. I guess they forgot to tell Comcast.

Absolutely odd final thirty minutes. Chivas looked to be playing in slow motion. W Connection had 10 men following a deserving red card and another player so gimpy that he was mostly a body out there. Then the two goals (the last a beauty!).

Great job by W Connection! Completely unexpected result, however it could be blamed by overconfidence by the goats. I will be even more impressed if W Connection wins the next game. However, as much as I might slightly enjoy that, I don't see that as a real possibility.

W Connections defense was great and completely frustrated Chivas who were playing with a man up. I would not underestimate W Connection with a full squad. Did you watch the match?

Sadly no, as it would have made me be in a very joyous mood. All I got to see were some clips, and then of course read reviews and articles written about the game.

They are not a typical T&T team. They are deep with solid subs. In addition to good young T&T players they have two exceptional and experienced players from St. Lucia, and exciting Columbian & Brazilian players. Chivas must bring its A game to beat them.
