I am still hopeful we can go through the season unbeaten - a frightening thought - Arsene Wenger, 28 Sept 2002.

Who was it that said it the season before...was it Beckham? ;)

My personal fav is Ken bates at the CV AGM......"Chelsea Village will ensure the survival of Chelsea Football club"

Wenger did come out with a couple of classics this season. His "Everybody thinks they have the prettiest wife at home" was a cracker, particularly as Fergiue apparently had to be reassured that this wasn't an actual reference to his wife.

"I have no gift for paranoia" was another one :D

Was it this season that bobby robson came out with "you shouldn't count your chicken before they're hatched, or they won't become eggs" line?

i enjoyed the ken bates diatribe against cowardly americans who were afraid to travel after 9/11, as an explanation to why chelsea village was bringin in the dough.

Glenn Hoddle's ' I thought we were in control of the game.' After Spurs lost 5-1 to Boro. Classic.

Diouf saying he was a world star, or something along those lines.

Yes it was. Also, I just picked up the latest FourFourTwo and they have 70 funny quotes from Sir Bobby Robson and that was one of them. Some of them were classic. Not sure when they all occurred though.

The one from Diouf was interesting. As was Houllier's one about if Diouf was from Brazil, he'd be labeled as one of the best players in the world, or something like that.

I also like Wenger's one about being suprised Cygan hasn't been called into the French national team yet. I don't think anyone else is.

The hidden gem is Mr. Ranieri (sp?) on Carlton Cole... it was along the lions of "Sometimes he is a lion and sometimes he is a rabbit". Claudio or Robson had the best quotes definitely. Wenger is just arrogant, he attempted to match Ferguson in mind games and ultimately self-destructed a few weeks back
