Annual Moderator Poll

Please rate us, your forum Mods (Metrofan CP, Nicephoras, Alex_1, Prenn, The Double) and how we moderated this forum, The Beautiful Game, in 2006. These polls have been created at the request of the BigSoccer Admins in an effort to improve our community and clarify our newly revised community guidelines for the coming year. Please be honest, civil, and fair in your responses. After one week, we will attempt to respond and address your praise and criticism. A little background about us...

I, Prenn, have been Moderator of this forum since 2002 and a member of BigSoccer since April 2000.
I, nicephoras, have been moderator of this forum since 2006 and a member of BigSoccer since July 2001.
I, the Double, have been moderator of this forum since 2006.
I, Alex_1, have moderated this forum since 2006.
Please use the thread as an opportunity to provide feedback. Please note all comments are public intentionally. Your vote, however, will not be public. Your comments can address both the way the board is moderated and the way individual Mods moderate.

Mods may not respond for 7 days. This should allow everyone time to cool off and answer maturely.

SuperMods and Admins will review all results and discuss problems (and praise).

Mods will be urged to bring up points of praise and concern on the Mods board for further discussion as well.

Misread Prenns post, but for what it's worth, Efernandez does a solid job in the Argentine boards.

Unfortunately, while Nicephoras is a disagreeable asshole, he does a pretty good job at moderating, so he still gets a decent grade. This is one of the better forums as far as moderating goes.

I would come to this forum more often if there wasn't what I think is such a skewed English point of view here. This is one of those forums (there are others here, in my opinion) in which I feel as if I'm going to get carded for saying anything remotely critical of English players, style of play or lack of results, even if I say it nicely and using facts to back it up. Sorry, but I figure this is a rare chance to express my opinion, and I hate the fact that I don't really feel comfortable posting in this forum on a more regular basis.

I'm the only English mod on this forum and I rarely do anything on here other than move spam. I don't think it's an issue.
