No wonder he was an extremely popular player here

They guy did not make it at United but there's no shame at that. A majority of transfers to big clubs like United end up being dissapointments. I think he's often unfairly singled out as a prime example of Fergie's declining powers because he has a "funny" name.

I think that this is good news about Ronaldo, Although I have to question the source, I mean I just checked sky sports and their is an interview with him and there is no mention of his Ronaldo comment.

I always liked Dj-Dj. Was sad to seem him not make it at United. Hope he does well for the rest of his career (although not against us.;))

A good read, even though it didn't work for him at United I hope he can do well and get back to Villa. Very classy, I must say.

And it's good to hear what he had to say about Ronaldo.

Interesting. Who woulda thunk Dx2 asked for a transfer? That's a shock.

He has the attitude of a Utd player, shame he didn't have the ability to go with it. He comes across as a nice guy.

I believe him on Ronaldo. When they we're both new here, I remember a series of articles reporting on the instant friendship between "Eric and Ronnie". I think they're close.

Well there's something you don't see everyday...a classy interview.

I remember when he first signed he said he will "sweat blood" for this club and every time he was on the pitch it was evident that he's a hard worker. It's a shame it didn't work out with him, not his fault. I wish him the best. Classy player - very rare nowadays.

Pure class from who seems like a really great guy. It's ashame things didn't work out for him here because he has a passion for this club that some players lack. It's very rare that you see an interview like this around these days. Djemba-Djemba is pure class for that interview. Hopefully things go well for him from here on out.
