Just finished watching the Arsenal-Wigan match.
Now I know why I love Lehmann so much. I honestly didn't stop laughing 10 minutes when he bounced the ball of the advert board. It was so blatantly stupid but hilarious at the same time. That has to be one of the funniest plays of the year - right up there with him grabbing his shoe at the end of the Man United match. :D
I'm going to upload a video of that on YouTube in little while...cheers!

Actually, I know this sounds mean, but when he got drilled at point blank range with that cannon shot from C. Ronaldo at OT and he got up...I laughed so hard, but I also was cheering for him. I love the guy.

Well there are some who think he was intentionally looking to get a yellow so that he would miss the FA replay, since he wouldn't be playing that match anyway.
Not sure if I give him that much credit but it is an interesting theory especially given how blatant he was about it.

I think the end of the MANUre game was by far my favorite moment, then there was that whole fall over incident with Drogba.

So with his 'ineligibility' for the FA Cup replay, does his yellow count 'reset' after this? In other words, does missing this match prevent him from missing a more important fixture for a subsequent yellow?

You have recounted my two favorite Jens moments of the year. I laughed hysterically at both of those moments. He's such an ass*ole it's hilarious. I'm laughing right now thinking about him grabbing his toe and holding the ball for an hour against Man U. I remember I was screaming along with Titi for him to drop the ball. Classic stuff.

This resets his count so that he starts again and needs another five again. It does seem to work out as long as we have no injuries.

i believe it resets... and he misses the League Cup Final... not any of the FA cup matches

After Henry celebrates with wenger he tracks back to the "Red Action" corner of Highbury. First time I've seen it from the other side. LOL. Mentalists.

Yes-which I believe was the method to that particular madness..... :)

I never grow tired of watching that. Especially when they show the split screen with AW and Red Nose.

Ok, here it is. I uploaded it this morning. If you watch closely, he makes a "fist-pumping" motion to the fans right before he chucks the ball - almost to say, "Ok, I'll give you some entertainment for your money". I hope he becomes a comedian when he retires.:

Lehman did a pretty good job getting himself that yellow, and looked like he was having fun while doing it too.
He reset his yellow card count by missing a game he was never going to play in anyway, there is method to his madness.

The stint against Man Utd was absolutely hilarious. In the midst of my joy I broke out in laughter when he did that.

Lehman seems like a good guy to have a pint with but I find his behaviour frustrating some times and at crucial times he can let the side down, by loosing his temper. He is unpredictable and if he had stayed on the pitch in last years CL final, we might have won.
When I was growing up David Seaman was a big idol in my life, and I think Lehman is no where near the level Seaman was as a goal keeper and he had to come out of the shadow of Seaman and in many ways he has not matched up to him.

Let's see;
Premiership winner in Undefeated Season
FA Cup Winner- Man of the Match in the Final
CL Runner Up after helping set CL record for clean sheets
not to mention getting Germany to the World Cup Semifinal. I think Jens has actually done pretty well in the last few years.
