Is the best season of recent history?

If you said a couple of years ago that Veron, Kily, Claudio, Clemente, Maroni, Ponzio and JRR returned I donīt think many people would have believed you

i think last apertura was the best season, for many reasons... level of certain players like Veron, Pavone, Alayes, Palacio, Zarate, Gago, Belluschi, Higuain.. etc was superlative in certain games and a couple of 5-6 teams keep their level very high for many games. The propouse of the football was basicly the same of ever, but the way how estudiantes make the miracle for having a final match against boca was superb...

Boca replaced Gago with Maroni, Clemente and JRR, River is better now in my opinion. San Lorenzo and Velez have a new coach and are probally a little better as well. Racing is better, Indep and Pincha about the same and Lanus and Arsenal could well upset some teams.

Seems like it is going to be a pretty even clausura

How's the level after 3 games?

I think its incredible.
Especially if you consider the scoring that has been done.
The two big games this week finished 3-1 (boca/independiente) and 4-2 (river/racing)

In Europe you can measure the level of the goals scored per game and the points of the champion.

Normally the Dutch league champion has more points then the Italian, German, Spanish or English champion.

In Argentina it's probally a bit different because the teams normally sell there best players even faster then in Holland. That way the smaller teams can compete as well

the 2 championships per season also helps, I am sure there is a different picture if there would be just one Championship. I doubt that Racing, Velez, Estudiantes or Newell's would become champions in 38 games
