So where does everyone now think we will end up at the end of the season?..............me i think where we are now or 8th but if we do end up in a spot for europe i will not moan at all.

8th sounds about right. This is not a young team, and it's wearing down, but I don't think we will see a total collapse. 8th will be good enough for Europe if the Carling Cup winner and both FA Cup finalists finish in the top 5.
I am encouraged that the big four are all coming to Fratton Park in the second half. They have seemed to have found another gear against those teams this year. They've played five games against the Big Four thus far, all way, and managed two draws and two one-goal defeats. The only really bad result was at Old Trafford, but I think we redeemed ourselves a tiny bit there in the FA Cup, where Pompey played the best game of their slump.

sounds about right... unless some of the new boys start hitting form and suprise us all

With this run of form i revise that to 10th but that still wil be a great improvement on previous years.
