This is a tough one to call. There was no clear standout. Our backline was probably our best performer today and the man involved the most was Vidic. Scholes was playing too deep against a five man midfield. Fletcher was left out at times, even though he impressed whenever he did have possession of the ball.

Apart from the goal, Park was never a threat, Giggs was our best player in the first half only and Rooney got going late in the first and was the difference for us in the second. Saha never looked too impressive out there.

So for me it's between Rooney and Vidic simply because they were the difference in one way or the other in a rather dissappointing and lackluster performance. I'll vote later.

Not a great match, a bit of a "meh" in all honesty but had a great time, singing me head off, especially when the United Calypso was going strong in the stretty for the first 20 minutes or so of the 2nd half.

evra was pretty solid and made some very nice runs, vidic was solid and by far the most reliable defender. I voted patrice but it coulda been either

No one really stood out, but I liked Fletch's effort - he's contributed positively in every aspect - good passing, won most of the challenges, and scored a very important goal.
