Wow, how often do you hear a 19 year-old kid referred to as "imperious", at least in a positive way (I can think of numerous teenagers that I'd describe that way sarcastically)? Well done, son.

If they are going to give him the award for January which was a fairly normal Cesc month, I take that as more of a "kid deserved this for awhile so we better give it to him now so we don't end up with a Scorsese-Oscar situation" thing than a specific reward for his play in January. Agreed? :D

Spot on. Funny that Cesc was the EPL PotM, but Bap was the Arsenal PotM.
I don't think it will be long before Cesc starts to show up on the Awards ballots; hopefully he'll have better luck than Titi.

Muy bien, Senor Fabregas!
Hopefully this is the beginning of many more magical months
of footie by the Spaniard.

i am so glad the Cesc won it, if c. Ronaldo won would it be the first time someone has won it three times in a row. And does this mark the first time an attacking player has won it without a single prem goal all month, or all year for that matter. :o

congratulations to young cesc...its a little funny that he won it in January, it wasn't even his best month so far this season.
by the way, am i the only one that thought gilberto's play in December was more impressive than ronaldo's?
