The not so serious draft tournament

Basically, I talked to Twenty26six over the tournament rules. We decided that we will have no judge(no one is dumb enough to be our judge). We vote among ourselves. I have asked Twenty26six to explain it as my English is not so good.


The Draw
Everyone pick a number between 1 to 100 and sent it to me through a PM. This is for the draw. I will make a list of the number in a decending order. The poster will play the team below him. If a poster have the same number, I will use the alphabet order of the user name.

No-So-Serious Draft Format
The competition will be a tournament with blind draw. Each contestant will be asked to pick a number between 00-99 and matches will be determined by those numbers.

Each match will be given its own thread space where a few things will happen. Contestants will post their "Pre-Match Notes" * [Starting XI and a BRIEF Tactical Overview] and then the thread will be open to posting from anyone on BigSoccer.

After a certain amount of time, the thread will be closed. * Pre-Match Notes will consist of a First XI, a brief primary gameplan and one alternate gameplan which can be executed through the use of substitutions and a small amount of repositioning and/or reorganizing.


One side note I want to add. We still do not know how many teams we will end up with. Ideally, we hope to get 16 teams.

Okay, I will go with Jono's idea. Three groups of 4 teams... one team got a bye, but no voting because I am too lazy to count the vote. :) I will list the team 1 to 13 according to 1-100 number given. Then, I will ask a netural poster -- the mod here -- to pick a number 1 -13. That number will get the bye to the next round.
