That was beautiful. Watched the first at my mom's with my bro on Univision. Watched the second at home in the living room by myself, while my step-brother and his friends watched in his room as they cheered Mexico. Just sweet.:D

Who disgraced your country more? The lowlife idiots throwing things at the US players?
The whole mexican team refusing to shake hands after the game?
Or Osvaldo Sanchez trying to take out Eddie Johnson?
Too close to call....

I wouldn't exactly say that you dominated the game, but a year from now, all that will be remembered will be 2-0. I cant tell you how pissed I am.

Big Soccer is brought to you by "2-0" -- the official score of the US-Mexico rivalry!

I'm happy for the win and everything, but it's pretty sh_tty to put this post on the top of the front page of big soccer. I'm sure some people TiVo'd the game and don't want to know the result in advance. The [R] doesn't help, when the whole post is displayed. This thread should be fixed.

Hey, I'm from Bolivia and just wanted to watch a good game. I had no vested interest on who won or lost, but I will tell you this.....you guys show absolutely ZERO class when you lose. What I saw from your team in the 2002 World Cup against the US was disgraceful. Tonight was an extension of that. And I hate saying that because I've been to Mexico numerous times and all the people that I've ever met there are truly fantastic.

I was watching with my GF and she can't understand why I hate the Mexican team so much...so I had to give her a bit of history:
If it's not their fans throwing urine bags & batteries at our players...or chanting Osama after 9-11, it's their players being complete douche bags, i.e., grabbing Lalas in the balls, not shaking hands after the match, etc. And now Sanchez's equivalent of Charles Martin on Jim McMahon tonight , which was up there with the worst of them (he's seriously lucky Eddie jumped). How many games will Sanchez get?
Losing to us absolutely eats at the Mexican psyche - I love it! Our country doesn't give it a second thought and this will be talked about for days.

Great result for the US big moral boost since some of the big guns stayed in Europe. Also, the way Mexico handled themselves was an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Not shaking hands after the game and worst off Oswaldo Sanchez trying to trip Johnson after Donovan made him fall. Also, couldnt believe fans throwing drinks at the American players. They really need to learn a bit of class.

Nuh uh dude! The Mexican players just treat it like a "shopping trip to the U.S." (as one Mexico fan posted) They don't really care, yet the U.S. players treat it like a big deal. Ignore the quotes from the players and Sanchez that losing is not an option, etc.
