Now that I'm back on the boards and in Monterey for the next eighteen months, just wanted to see if there's anyone around the area (for match-watching purposes of all kinds) and even in-state (road trips to LA?). Long shot, but let us know if you're out there.

I've been trying to get the same thing going down here in San Diego. If you get any progress on this, let me know. I've got some peeps down here for the DC/La-las early in the season, but beyond that, not much else. Let's show everyone, that pride, tradition, and results will always beat out pretty boys from Madrid.

Having said that, I still think it's great for MLS that Beckham is here. (Yeah, yeah, I know. I just killed another kitten. I'm sorry!)

Probably a good dozen or so fans in California. Including me.

Just look around this board and you'll find their names.

When DC is in town we usually try to arrange for group ticket purchases.

Outstanding. I hate that weekend games out here are so few and far between (one this season?), but count me in for each and every one.

Hey Knave, didn't you organize last year's DC visit to the Chivas, but then couldn't make it or something at the last minute? Yeah, there were only about 15 of us or so at that game, but Christian Gomez and the boys made us feel like we were back in RFK. It was total class after the game when several of the DCU players came up to us and started thanking "us" for coming out. Truly gracious, which makes it so much more the while to go out and support them! Looks like they're coming out on 06/02 to play the Gals, and on 09/06 to play Chee-Vos! See you guys in parking lot 4b for those games. No fuzz (for the dry campus) and it's cheaper to park there.

Where's Morrissey? I haven't seen him on the boards lately. And JayJay4Prez is usually much more vocal too. I hope we're not loosing our SoCal faithful. Come on boys and girls. Let's start getting motivated! (I know, lay off the Monster Energy drink after 1pm.) I used to drink Red Bull, but then they bought a dance troop in New York and it was all over after that. But I digress...... :D

Yeah, it was a holiday weekend. I had family obligations so I couldn't attend.

Dopf! Well, considering you're up in Truckee, even considering coming all the way down to the HDC is impressive. Kudos!

I just relocated to San Diego from the Nova area. I would be interested in meeting United fans out here and seeing them when they come to LA.

NICE!!! That's what I'm talking about. Several of my friends and I are going to try and turn Seau's into the new Soccer TV Viewing location of San Diego. Shakespeare's, voted several times best soccer viewing bar in all the USA, is great and all, but it is more for the English game. Maybe that will change once the Thursday night games kick in.

Anyway, welcome to San Diego, and keep tuned into this thread. I'll send you a private message as April draws closer. It'll be good to get some MLS supporters out and about, and not just DC United.

Winning converts...one fan at a time! :D

Well, I'm a DCU fan located in Vegas. I wish I could make some matches, but other things call at the moment. I would like to stay up to date on any group triips to either LA or SLC, just in case I'm able to make it.

I really miss matches at RFK... (pre-baseball of course!)

Do any of transplants know where to catch the DCU Olimpia match on Wednesday any where between LA and Diamond Bar?

Wish I had the internet for the last couple weeks, if I could of found some others I'm sure I could of gotten the local pub(in Upland) to put it on....though there's usually an anti-MLS group there.

On the Games in LA, the dates are in: 6/2/07 for the Gals(Saturday, 7:30 p our time), and 9/6/07 for the Goats(Thursday, 7:00 ESPN2 broadcast).

Just a note, this will be the first time we play Chivas at night in LA.

And I will still be calling for Rimando even if he's in Salt Lake. :-(
