Sorry this is a little late.
SWP looks out of his depth and Spain have just put a brilliant passing move together only for Morientes to hoof it miles over :D

Need a left-midfielder, Dyer is playing in everyone else's space (Lampard, Gerrard, SWP, and even venturing into Crouch's area). Atleast play Barry at LB if not in midfield, England are playing with just 2/3 of the pitch.
EDIT: And the only time Sweepy doesn't look out of his depth is against lower league opponents :p

Funnily enough he's not the only Chelsea player like that ;)

With a bit of luck 10th choice Steve will exit the ground in a taxi at halftime.

We're just a yard short in pace all over the field.
Also, I love how Lawrensn keeps talking about the difficult choice between Lampard and Gerrard when we've got Dyer and Gimp Minor on the field. WTF?

All that space on the left hand side.
Everytime P Neville gets the ball you know what he's going to do: If he's in his own half he hoofs it, if he's up the other end he cuts inside and crosses it. Barry must be doing his nut.
A decent side in a competitive game would have ripped us apart. The only think is that Spain are almost as bad as we are.

boring game, I fell asleep. Pretty even for both sides , although england had a bit more better opportunities. Gerrard is the only player that stood out

Dreadful performance.
Why is Lampard playing on the left?
Wright-Phillips is having a nightmare.
Mong the younger should be shot. On principle.

Should be a goal a piece in my opinion... SWP has played pretty well. Crouch is just climbing guys/fouling left and right.. Should have been a little less selfish and passed that last chance over to Dyer.. Dyer should have buried the chance he got early in the game..Morientes had a early x-mas present and blew it. The defense has been all and all okay...

I think his pace and energy have been good... He has just been stuffed by the left back way too many times.. SWP, that is..

I should hope he has plenty of energy. Not like he has expended much for Lokomotive West London this year.
So a winger who hasn't beaten his man yet? Poor.

Dyer and Crouch together is a horrible recipe..Time to make the changes McSven..

Sometimes effort wins out in the long run... Let's see what happens..

Gerrard off Barry on.
Why not Barry on for Lampard?? I'd rather see Barry and Gerrard...

Whenever I see that sort of thing I always get the impression that the manager has to make a difficult decision and wants to bottle it so he play someone out of position to make them look bad. McSven did the same thing with Johnson playing him on right midfield instead of the Owen position.
Maybe we should be thankful Frank's not in goal
Wright-Phillips is having a nightmare.
He started off reasonably enough but he looks short of matches.

Dyer seems to lack the desire to go in for the ball.

I wonder if that is anything to do with the team being balanced.............
