I can't thank you enough for this, When luck isn't going your way it not going your way. Different story for that team up North.

He said: 'Alex won PSV the tie alone, which is only a bit of an exaggeration.
..
'Chelsea have the money to buy the best players - that's not new information.

'I don't know the rules and I don't think he's the only player Chelsea own like that.'
--------------------------------------------------------

Wenger is unbelievable at times.

Not quite - they need to play for the CL qualifying spot. Considering how they've imploded in the past after bad results that's far from a done deal

And now that they've lost Henry they're relying on Adebayor and Baptista for goals in the league. Ouch.

It is sad how much joy that brings to my life. I really hate that team as a whole. Small as I feel about it, seeing them fail actually makes me happy. :)

Well, TBH I am not even shameful about it. It's not really about hating them, it's about respecting them. I hate 'Pool and Utd but atleast I respect them.
Their manager and their keeper are absolute *****.
It serves them right for hurling abuse at us all the time. But they will surely sing their " The future is bright......." BS.
U can say what u want but this is just me.

Not sure about goals scored, but we've actually had a better win rate without Mr Henry than with him this season. Of course that's partially down to him playing with injuries, but....

And of course the future is bright.....

That's almost certainly down to Henry not playing in less important games. And the injuries you mention.

And of course the future is bright.....

Every Arsenal fan should make that their signature. ;)

They should be more worried about losing Henry for next season. He may go to a new club. I wonder if he's thinking he should have gone to Barca now.

Who knows you may lose Henry to another club next season. I'm not sure how you will perform then.

Dont think so. It's pretty random. He missed the 1st Manu game, when arguably we played better. He missed the Spurs game. He missed the game at your place, but he did play vs Liverpool...

The point being we've done alright without him or with him injured... Anyway, we'll see...

Yeah, that's true, now Arsenal have got knocked out of the CL, he'll be thinking "why didn't I join Barca..?"

oh, wait a sec...

Well for one he would still be in the running for a title of some sort...shall I continue?

Henry won't leave this season. He's injured and didn't play well - he'd be leaving at a cut rate price and is unlikely to attract nearly as much attention as he would have last year. This year almost certainly marks the beginning of his decline as a footballer. (Not that he's no longer an excellent player, but its unlikely he'll ever be as good again as he was previously.)

True, true. The funniest thing about this, was the excuse all Arse fans were using why they didn't play their best 11 in the Carling Cup final. The point I want to make is, when you have a chance to play for silverware & Glory, don't take it for granted. You never know when you can end up like Bolton Wanders or N. Forest ;)
let's fast forward to the end of the season and pretend that Chelsea finish 2nd in the league and the only silverware they get is teh Carling Cup. would you call it a successfull season for Chelsea?
