Pasted from some messages on our e-mail list at Yahoogroups.
Please read from top to bottom.
Please post remarks if you can. I really want to get a feeling of what you guys think about this match and this BVB team.......
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If we lose or draw in Hamburg, I think we'd better get prepared for the relegation battle.
same discussion I just had over the garden fence with my neighbor. well, if we draw, it's better for us than for HSV. they HAVE TO win this match. we just SHOULDN'T lose. well, make that: WE HAVE TO WIN!!! :)
hopefully they (BVB) play like the last away games in Hamburg but yep agree of course, they have to win that!
Well, this seems to have been half of the season that streaks have ended.
We finally beat BayScum again, but we also finally lost to Mainz.
I hate to say it, but these things happen in threes. I thought the third streak to end would be that we would score against Stuttgart at home.
But, I'm really afraid that this third thing might be that we finally lose to HSV in Hamburg again........
Well hopefully you will be wrong about that ;).. but I also don't have a good feeling at the moment esp. after seeing how they played on Sunday... but if we lose there then we really get into the relegation fight!
My last comment: San, I hope my fear is wrong too. However, this team has shown us absolutely NOTHING since the second half of that Bayern match.
But, let me rephrase what I said to make it better for us.
Either we are going to lose at Hamburg for the first time in ages or Nelson Valdez will finally score some goals for us!
How about that?? :D

I will be in Hamburg this weekend. Meeting my brother, watching the match and then hitting the "Kiez".
And yeah, if we lose this one, everyone who still talks about UEFA cup gets shot. Then we have to look at the other end of the table. :-/
Anyway, have a good feeling about this one. :-)

10th minute: Mahadivikia dives for a penalty. The replays show it's a clear dive.
vdV converts, 1-0 HSV.

Double bit of bad news:
In the 38th minute, instead of playing vDv like a normal defender would just outside the box, Brzenska F#CKING STUPIDLY decides to lower his shoulder into vDv's back!!!
Nothing came of the direct free kick, but BVB could not clear the ball, with vdV recovering and putting it back in front of our net where Collin Benjamin put it in for a 2-0 HSV lead.
Then, two minutes later, Kruska sent a f#cking HORRIBLE pass out to the left wing, where Dede STUPIDLY went into HSV's Jarolim with a two-footed challenge, earning himself a well-f#cking-deserved RED CARD!!!
So, it's halftime, we're down 2-0 and down a man.
I don't think even HSV can f#ck this up!!!

Two words I've heard from the announcer entirely too much so far today:
"Fehler Brzenska"
(Mistake by Brzenska)
This boy STINKS!!!

It's pretty bad man. The last time I can remember a BVB side looking so timid and unsure of themselves is that 1999-2000 season where we barely avoided relegation........

Well, this season is shot!!!!! Relegation battle - here we come. I mean how inconsistent can this team be. We lose to those we should beat and beat the ones that we should have lost???

My God do we suck........
Right at the end, Weidenfeller WHIFFS on a clearing pass. Sorin passes the ball back to Mahavikia, who Weidenfeller had just invited to dive again a few moments before and Mahavikia put the ball into the open net to see off our miserable bunch of pu$$ies 3-0......
We are in a battle against relegation people.
I invite any of you who still believe Bert van Marwijk was the problem with this team to look at this match.
Our problem is that we have a bunch of PU$$IES wearing the uniform these days.......

Dude. What do you mean "beat the ones we should lose to?"
We got lucky and beat Bayern! That's it! We should have lost to Stuttgart and we did.
One lucky win. That's all it was.
These guys f#cking suck. That's the only way I can put it.

I've been telling anyone who will listen that BVB management did a horrible job buildiing this team and then put pressure on it that the team was nowhere near ready for.
The management fired Bert van Marwijk and let everyone blame him for the team's problems.
This BVB team's problem is that it isn't very good. And that is MANAGEMENT'S FAULT!!!!

Are you guys financially secure enough to overhaul the team?

I honestly don't know. I don't think so.
And to be honest, I don't think the guys currently in charge are the right people for the job.
I think they are goddamned clueless.

:( as an Iranian I am seriously, seriously vexed at Mahdavikia. We were always glad that our team, surrounded by the most histrionic dive-happy teams in the world, never took dives. But I suppose Mahdavikia saw it fit to begin extinguishing this reputation.
I hope Iranian players quickly forget any thoughts they have about diving.
but seriously! I have never seen such masochistic fans as you! be happy you beat Bayern, 3-2 is actually an intense scoreline. Good for Dortmund :)

absolutely shocked by the team this season. nothing is a surprise from now on. honestly the only way we can move on next season is if the entire management is changed and we actually get some lads in there who know football. seems like all we have is financial people... and no people with an eye for talent. i feel sorry for being one of those people who bashed BvM... he clearly was not the problem!! this team is loaded with **************... and i swear I would play harder than them if I put on a BVB shirt.
