Succeeding Keller, Howard faces first test as new starter tonight against Mexico (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/soccer/world/2007-02-07-howard_x.htm) (USA Today).

From that:

"It's not going to be friendly," Howard says of a hungry opponent that is 0-6-1 and hasn't scored a goal against the USA since 2000.

Or since March 27,2005, whichever.

They haven't scored against the US in the US since a 2-1 win in San Diego in the US Cup on March 13, 1999, near as I can tell.

I was at that game. It was a good time, even though the US lost. As I remember, it was a well fought game by both sides. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be too surprised by a similar scoreline tonight.

I also spent a couple of hours in the lot after the game because I locked my keys in my car.:o

If Mexico is Moriarty, then Phoenix may be our Reichenbach Falls.

I have a bad feeling about this one.

So we lose. Wake me when it counts, like, um, in a World Cup game.

What about the lessons you learned before about money (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/moneymag_archive/2005/10/01/8277969/index.htm)?

That's right.

Like my role model O'Neill from Platoon said, "I got a bad feeling on this one."

From the LA Times "National Exposure"
One reason for the increased exposure comes down to one man: David Beckman.

Who the #$%^ is David Beckman? Hahah...

It's a shame what Williams has to go through. He's one of the more entertaining players in the league. I wish him the best.
