I got my "knock back" e mail too, plus one from one of my U.S. friends who applied on my behalf saying "No" as well.
(I think we would have been Liverpool in the quarter finals as well if other results this season are anything to go on !! ) :mad:

Congrats, If i had won tickets, i would have gone as long as ManUre or Chelski weren't playing. It would have been too much if i had to watch one of those teams lift the cup. Do you think you're gonna go? A trip to Greece in May would be a blast. Since neither Chelsea nor ManU made it, I finally decided to go. Seriously, I just decided that this was one of those things that I'd regret if I didn't do it. It's different going when you don't really care all that much about the result.
Next time if I win, I will make hotel reservations as soon as I find out. Finding a room in Athens has been tough. Anyway, Im going to Athens via Copenhagen (I can hear Rick's comments about American knowledge of geography now!!). I leave on the 18th. Since I've never been to either place, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah, i figured that hotels might be a problem. You could always stay someplace else and just go in the day of the game. I'm sure Athens will clear out after the game. Have a good trip.
