How do you go about selling tickets if you can't make the trip or don't want to anymore? They claim you can't sell tickets or transfer them but I assume there is some way just maybe difficult?

I was about to apply for 2 tickets in case Arsenal make the final but if they don't, was planning to sell them but in the FAQs it says
Q: Will my name be printed on the tickets?
A: The name of the applicant will be printed on the ticket(s) allocated. ID checks could be implemented at the entrance of the stadium.
Q: Am I allowed to give or sell my tickets to someone else?
A: In accordance with the Terms and Conditions, neither the applicant nor the guest may sell, offer for sale, auction, resell or otherwise transfer the tickets.

1. yes
2. yes, kind of. I wouldn't sell it to someone you didn't know if you ever plan to apply again.

I don't remember them checking IDs in Paris, and i doubt they will in Greece.

That's what I was getting at, I figured with all that stuff happening in Italy, UEFA might actually be checking the IDs etc.

Maybe, but i doubt it. It's gotta be pretty tough to check 80,000 ID's in an hour. In Paris there were huge lines to get in, and they only scanned the ticket's barcode, and did a quick pat down check. I've had tickets with names on them a few times, and have never been asked for an ID. Does anyone know if they were checking at the World Cup? I think i remember that they weren't. Besides both tickets would have the same name on them, so half the people going in with UEFA tickets won't have ID that matches anyway.

So the lottery winners should be notified by Saturday. I've somehow lost my enthusiasm for the prospect of winning. Not that i was expecting Arsenal to be there, but i was hoping. :(

This also gives folks a chance to help out other supporters. If you win tickets there are Prem teams still alive in the competition. Each of them have deserving fans here on Big Soccer who might be in need of tickets for the final.
