Well, that really sucks. So many damn turnovers that could have been avoided. Really sickening. Those douche bags are going to be so smug next year. It's crap that Manning won the MVP. Granted I am completely biased and want Manning dead and I am the first to admit that but it shoulda gone to Rhodes or Addai. 113yds/TD rushing and 133 total yards respectively. 247/TD/INT for Manning and he gets the MVP? come on. Too bad they couldn't give it to the Colts D or the OLine. I hate Peyton Manning so much. Not to mention, THE BEARS SUCK. The Texans coulda won the SuperBowl against them, isnt that right ngower?

anyone think Brian Griese woulda been able to help the Bears in the 2nd half?

Bears played well, then faded and the Colts came back. Can't say Manning and the Colts didn't deserve it after a bajillion playoff disappointments. Good for them.

Agreed that Rhodes/Addai should have been named MVP. Co-MVPs.
Another good choice would have been someone on the defense. Except the Colts best defensive player was Rex Grossman.

The fraternity of sports writers has a collective man-crush on Mr. Manning for several years, but they had to restrain themselves somewhat because he hadn't actually won. In light of yesterday's events, I believe we can now expect that come September, the head of every sportwriter in America will disappear up Peyton Manning's ass hole in an orgy of shameless adulation that will only abate when they begin to worry that Brett Favre might actually retire this time. The only upside for the millions of us who don't share their slobbering devotion to Bretton ManFavre is that the terribly difficult question of which one they love more may cause a few heads to explode.

To be fair, and I'm as biased as any Pats fan, the announcers have a huge hard-on for Tom Brady as well. And when it's Colts v. Pats, they make a spectacle of themselves.

The difference is that their Brady-love developed following his enormous success, not in anticipation (Manning) or fond nostalgia (Favre).

I never thought I'd cheer for Chicago in anything. I felt dirty.

I know, me too. Grossman should have been pulled out of the game early in the second half

So who was the worst QB in the Super Bowl. Grossman or Eason?

That game was God awful. It was just a torture to watch, luckily playing pool and smoking cigars made it a bit more tolerable.

I have no idea how the Bears got to the Super Bowl with that idiot as their QB.

As much as I hate to say it ... congrats to the Dolts, Dungy (hey, did you know there were two African American coaches last night? ;)) and Manning.

Looking forward to the Thursday night season opener when the Pats bring the Dolts back to reality.

I had no idea. I would also like to hear an explanation on how the guys on some CBS crap sitcom got front row seats...and the game was on CBS...oh I see now ;)

It isn't an issue unless you make it an issue.

The media made it an issue.

Pointless.

And it probably pisses off some of the Fire fans, so that's always a plus as well.
