These kids, when they get a chance to go to a soccer game, it's like us going to an American football game. It's different. It's a different generation."

Wow, that quote sends tingles down my spine. And not only because of the content, but also of the person- in such a top position- saying it.

This is the part of the quote that stood out to me, seeing that New York can't have another team until 2010.

"Valentine said the team would have gone to St. Louis, Philadelphia or New York."

After reading that this whole thing makes more sense. Politicians suck! I hope RSL gets this deal done tomorrow and I hope that DC fans aren't next to go through this awful anxiety and have their team be used as a pawn. (I dream)
