What happened to "youth petulance"? Some posters defended Rooney and Ronaldo through that, now Cesc, who's younger than both, does it and he doesn't get that break?

So all the posters on the Arsenal forum gave Rooney and Ronaldo a break when they acted badly?

"Hughes explained: 'He came off the pitch and asked me if I had played for Barcelona and when I said that, yes I did, he said something to the effect of `that wasn't Barcelona football, was it ?'"
Wow burn mother********er burn..

We are a lot less stuffy about incidents that are non-violent/have nothing to do with the game play.
The only thing we rag on ronaldo about, other than his diving, is the fact that he carries a purse.:p

For what it's worth, there was a lot of argument on this board when Rooney/Ronaldo acted up. In this case it is yet another example of Cesc acting like the child he is. Wenger needs to tell the kid a few home truths before his ego is even more inflated.

That wasnt a bitch move.
It was a snipe. From a 19 year old kid, to a 40+ year old veteran.
What exactly is wrong with that? If you dont like that act, then too bad for you. I think its funny. People already blowing that out of proportion. You are acting as if he sucker punched a women.
What was a bitch move though, was playing negative football. THAT was a bitch move.

Cesc has acted like a child before and he has done so again.
Right, whats the big deal? He is a child after all.

What did you expect Sparky to do? His team were visibly tired from the late night, mid-week UEFA Cup tie and they were missing their best attacking players. Trying to play an open game against Arsenal at the Emirates would've been suicide under those conditions.
Fabregas may be witty, but the incident just highlights the fact that Arsenal are sore losers/draw-ers. I certainly don't find that respectful - you'll never see the likes of Henry or Wenger being gracious in defeat, and that attitude gets infused into the rest of the squad.

Its really not THAT serious.
Its not respectful, yes, but was it really that bad?

I find this laughable.
WAH they're playing too rough WAH Shut up you blubbering vagina!
Seriously, kids like him nowadays just can't stop complaining, negative football my arse, not many teams can come up against Arsenal and play their brand of football and get positive results. It's jjust another tactic on their behalf, what they have to do in order to get the appropriate result, and as far as I know playing physical isn't illegal in football.
I don't have much of a problem with Cesc saying this because I know he's still an immature idiot, but how can you agree with it?

Agree with what? It was just a little bit funny to me. Thats all.
You say playing physical isnt illegal, but leaving your leg late in the challenge is illegal. Fouling intentionally, even though you know you are beat is cheating, and illegal. Things like that. You know, like how Robbie Savage went in on Gilberto when the play was over. Fouling him intentionally, to get him wound up. That sure is illegal.
Dude, I like Blackburn, Im not complaining about the negative football really, but Cesc comment made me giggle. Thats all. Hughes should have laughed with him.

I doubt you know Hughes' character. Saying stuff when you know there'll be no retribution coming your way isn't impressive. It's poor form, but then, Cesc is but a child. A bit like when he tried to take a swing at Teddy and Teddy just laughed.
Playing negative football when you have few 1steamers, are Blackburn away at the Emirates, where you last lost 6-2 is a bitch move?
Did you expect them to open up effectively pulling their pants down and saying 'insert here?'

Typical Arsenal petulance, which starts with the manager. It will be worth watching the next match just to see the retaliation, which will be deserved.
