I love that RSL would be sold on friday if no deal is done. Not for the sake of leaving because I want RSL to stay RSL but I am certain that SL County or where ever never thought in a million years that their little power play would blow up on them so quickly. "Lucrative offer" from St. Louis for the team, WILL be sold in a week.

Never thought I would hear that about a MLS franchise.

I love Friedels philosophy on youth soccer in the States. He's right about it being too exspensive. I make a pretty good living, I love soccer and I encourage my kids to play, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay $1000/yr for my kid to be in an "elite soccer club". That's not including the travel, uniforms, gear, coaching fee's, etc. I really don't know what all the costs are but I know that it doesn't end at the club fee. It is no wonder that inner city kids don't play.

With two more players joining the growing list of Americans playing in the English Premier League, the bosses at U.S. Soccer should schedule an exhibition game for the United States in London. It would be the ideal situation for coach Bob Bradley to check out Americans playing in Europe and avoid them having to make the long trip back to the States.

it would also give EPL coaches an easy chance to get a view of all the MLS stars that could possibly move to the EPL. Bradley could lose more than he gains by seeing the UK based players in a single match
