Many players have played in both sides of a great rivalries/derbies. Many more played in more than one great rivalries/derbies.
Will Ronaldo be the first player ever to have play for both sides in more than one rivalries/derbies? Does anyone understand my question? Roanldo played for both sides of the Barcelona-Real Madrid rivalry. Now, he had joined AC Milan and if he plays against Inter Milan, that will mean he had played for both sides in two great rivalries/derbies.
For the greatest rivalries/derbies, I meant:
Real Madrid/Barcelona
Boca Juniors/River Plate
AC Milan/Inter Milan
Rangers/Celtic
I am relectant to say Manchester/Liverpool, Juventus/AC Milan or Arsenal/Chelsea on the same level.

Miquel Soler played for Espanyol, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid (among other teams). So he played on both sides of a Real Madrid-Barcelona, Real-Atletico and Barcelona-Espanyol.

How dare you leave off Roma-Lazio! Twice as big of a derby than the Milan's. All the Milans have over the capital derby is money!

I meant playing for 2 derbies or 4 different teams.
For example, Ronaldo playd for AC Milan(not yet, but u know what I meant), Inter Milan, Barclona and Real Madrid. That is 2 derbies and he played for both sides of each derbies. Schuster played for 2 derbies, but three teams.
Most of the players in your list does not count. They played in one derby(both teams). For example, Seedorf played for both AC Milan and Inter Milan, but he never played Barcelona. He played in 2 derbies, but only for Real Madrid in one of them. That does not count because many players had done that.
Di Stefano might count as one. Since he played for Barcelona, R.Madrid and Espanyol. So he played for Barcelona-R.Madrid and the Barcelona derby.... that is two.

Why use Arsenal and Chelsea? If Arsenal has a rivalry with any team it's Tottenham. Ajax/Feyenoord belongs on this list.

I could only come up 4 major rivalries. The Barcelona-R.Madrid, the Old Firm, the Boca Juniors-River Plate or the Milan derby stood above from the rest(altrhough I might consider the Milan derby as lesser than the other three and perhaps some other rivalries should replace them). The rest of them I mentioned are just examples. I could easily put Ajax-Feyenoord, the Madrid derby, Man Utd-Liverpool, etc. I just typed in Arsenal-Chelsea as I wrote.

European clubs demanding loyalty from a South American player is just nuts....especially when he didn't even go through any European youth system.

Actually, it read rivalries and derby on all my posts. I made sure that no anal can say the Real Madrid-Barcelona is not a derby. The wotrd "derby" was never associated with this rivalry.

What the hell is so nuts about that?
Just because you weren't raised in a particular country or went through a particular youth system doesn't mean you can't develop loyalty for that particular club.

Ronaldo's agent said on his first move to Europe as a youngster he was only there to gain money and his only love was for some team in Brazil, which name's I forget. Fluminese I think.
