I have just received an e-mail this morning from the club telling me they have allocated me 24 tickets. Now along with the season tickets that we hold and other season ticket holders guarranteeing me their 2nd ticket everyone who had applied to me has a ticket.
Obviously those that were confirmed had tickets anyway, but I had rather a long wait list, so everyone who I told they were on a wait list is fine.
I will probably receive the pricing e-mails in the next few days and will PM you all at the beginning of next week with regards to payment and meet places.
TOUR
There will be a tour for all members of Arsenal America at 12pm on the 2nd March 2007 of the stadium and museum. If anyone wants to go on this please read the post on the next page about it from me and then post on the thread that you would like to go. It also includes a 20% discount in the Arsenal store.

This is excellent news. Thanks Rick for all the work you put into this to make it possible for silly Americans like myself to go see the Arsenal.
I've got a question for anyone who can answer (and my fingers are crossed that this does not incur the wrath of Rick):
What address do I use to PayPal the money? I've read through all the threads and I don't see anything other than "PayPal Arsenal America the money". Is the address treasurer@arsenalamerica.com, or something else? I don't want to send it to the wrong place, which would delay the money getting to the right place, which in turn irritates and inconveniences the fine people handling all of this business.
Thanks!

Well I did laugh a few games ago when I got a call from someone in the box office on a match day asking if I had a spare..........:p

Rick
Many thanks. I can't even imagine the amount of work that goes into all this. And special thanks for including me in spite of my earlier retraction. I cannot wait for this game. You are doing God's work. I look forward to your PM.
EDIT- got the PM, will be sending all my info. You are the best Rick.
Questions- I won't be in town until Saturday morning, can a very good friend of mine show up in my stead for the tour and 20% off. He's English, but about a 4th generation Arsenal fan, and season ticket holder.

Thanks for all your work, Rick! I will check with my group of guys about the grounds tour and store trip, but I would think they'd all be interested. Will let you know when I hear for sure.

Rick,
I'll be in town that day, but unfortunately, the first time I go to the stadium I want it to be to see a match. If somehow we could do it later or carry the discount over to later in the weekend (which I doubt is possible), it would work better for me.

Im afraid the discount can only be when I am there on the day of the tour. The main problem is that the week of a CL game UEFA take over the ground. Even the Arsenal staff have to wear different ID etc. It's very secure. There is just no way they give tours on the week of a CL game Im afraid. I understand what you mean, although personally I went round the stadium before it was completed and thought it ws magnificent........it's not something you get the chance to do very often........coming from Seattle - if you drink at the George and Dragon, do you happen to know Anna Starr? Ask her about the tour, she went on it and really enjoyed it.

I get into London that day, rather early I think, so depending on the hour I could possibly make it. Many thanks, Rick! I'll be sending my info along shortly.

Depending on the time, I'm interested in the tour as well. I don't get in to Heathrow until 9am Friday morning, so I'd need it to be mid-afternoon to realistically make it.
Thanks!

All 4 in our party are available Friday, March 2nd, and would definitely like to take advantage of the tour and store discount. Do we know what time the tour would be?

That's next season when he launches his takeover bid for the Arsenal Box Office. You make Rick B sound like one of those American tycoon shysters taking over Liverpool ;)
