I get in quite early on the 2nd, so I could defintely make it (and would love to!) providing I can get to where I'm staying and up to the Grove in time.

You make Rick B sound like one of those American tycoon shysters taking over Liverpool ;)

Don't call Rick an American - he'll have your guts for garters. ;) :D

Of my group (3), one of them, (me), will absolutely tour.

Ok everyone - The tour is at 12PM on the Friday. It will take in the directors Box, Press Box, dugouts and you'll be going pitch side. You will also get to see the vault box from Highbury. Afterwhich you'll be escorted through the car park to the shop where you will receive a 20% discount on all items apart from programs and match day tickets at the store. Either before the store or afterwards you will be given entrance to the museum which is pretty good and has loads of memorabilia etc etc

The tour is £6 for children and £12 for Adults - which isn't bad considering your all going to save twice that with the store discount!!

The meet place is Turnstyle E at the stadium at 11.45am DO NOT BE LATE AS THERE ARE OTHER TOURS AND IF YOU ARE LATE IT WILL MEAN OURS IS SHORTENED!!!!

PLEASE BRING ARSENAL AMERICA CARDS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THESE YET - BUG BIGHORN NOT ME!! (sorry Matt!! :p )

That's great Rick! As previously posted, all 4 in our group will be taking the tour.

Do we pay in advance through the usual PayPal address or at the time of the tour?

Thanks again!

I can't make the tour, I'm getting in that morning a bit too late. Do I need the card to get my tickets for the game the next day? I became a member back in September I believe and never received anything. I can print something out no problem if that makes things easier for whoever is involved.

Thanks!

Yes, anyone heading over should have an ArseAm id card. PM me your full name and an email address, and I'll send it over.

what is the best way to get from the London Bridge tube stop to Arsenal?

it looks like you should be able to take the Northern Line to King's Cross/St Pancras and transfer to the Piccadilly line directly to Arsenal.

but, when i try the trip planner on journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk, it says there's no tube-only way to get between the two, and that I have to the Victoria line to Finsbury Park and then a bus to Arsenal?

Thats because the Arsenal tube station is closed at the moment. Very annoyingly I might add!! I am trying to work around this to meet at Holloway Road station and then start the tour from a different point. I will decide by this evening. Blame London Transport!!!!

ah ok - glad i saw this before i left. let me know what's up!

edit - I just checked the journeyplanner and this looks like it's only an issue for the grounds tour on Friday and that the Arsenal station will be open normally on Saturday, right?

I will be at the tour on Friday. It will only be me at the tour as my wife will be off shopping. Both of us will be there on Saturday, though.

Thanks. Can't wait!

Not really a ticket question, seeing as how I won't be coming to London until next year, but would anyone who's going over or is already there like to do me a favor? I want to get some of the scarves on Arsenal.com's shop, but I don't want to pay the insano shipping cost from Britain, because my natural cheapness will only take me so far. Anyway, if someone wouldn't mind doing a bit of shopping for me, and just mail me the stuff when they get back stateside, I'd greatly appreciate it. It's a damn sight better than paying the £18 (or roughly $36) just for shipping that Arsenal.com charges for orders exceeding £20. :(

If anyone's willing, send me a PM.

Thanks,
Darth

Rick,

Sorry if it screws anything up numbers-wise, but we won't be making it now for the tour on Friday. See you on Saturday though w/pix in hand. Have fun, all!
