Were you happy, disappointed, any key injuries, are your transfers or youth academys paying off, vent or boast right here.

Disappointed
Improvement from last year, but not as much as I thought there would be
Robbie Keane paid off.
Perfromance would have been a lot better if Ziege and Gardner had not been injured so much.

Parma did alright. My problem is every year they have the talent to outclass everyone in Serie A but they don't. A lot of dropped points including Reggina and Roma (which the other guys controlled, granted).

I'm thrilled. We basically won Serie A, and we're still in the CL.

Brugge will be crowned league champions if they at least get a point this weekend, which shouldn't be a problem. The key thing is that this year a lot of the older signings, a lot of them players who spent most of their time at the club on the bench, finally started to pay off, so Brugge didn't have it's usual little dip in form around March-April. Which meant the title is finally ours again

Disappointed but not too much.
We started well then we fell asleep then we woke up, too late.
With a couple of new good players next year we will be fighting for serie a with very good chances.
And that is the place for the 9th team in Italy (number of supporters).
Sadly juve won the scudetto.
This is a tragedy for any italian who isn't a juve fan. ;)

Gigi Riva, the man who brought Cagliari the one and only scudetto in our history.
Imagine a Vieri even stronger... he's still "the striker" for any italian.

I always thought Riva was a winger - didn't he play on the left for the Italian national team?
Cambridge did ok-ish this year, finished mid-table in Div3 but considering they were relegated last year, anything would have been an improvement.

Rombo di Tuono
Changes were inevitable and Cagliari’s left-footed striker found himself carrying the hopes of his country. ‘Gigi’ responded, spearheading an Italian attack that lifted the 1968 European Championship trophy and reached the World Cup final in Mexico two years later. Known as ‘Rombo di Tuono’ - Sound of Thunder - because of his powerful, all-action style, Riva is Italy’s all-time record marksman with 35 goals in 42 matches. It could - and should - have been more but Riva twice broke his leg in the early 1970s which hampered his career.
But Riva is really remembered for scoring the 21 goals during the 1969-70 season that virtually won Cagliari their first and - so far - only Scudetto. Born in Leggiuno, near Varese, Riva - along with Silvio Piola – is considered to be the finest forward Italy has ever produced. Strong, fast and brave, he boasted a left-foot that produced an Exocet shot. It was so powerful that it broke the arm of a child spectator when one of his efforts flew into the crowd.
He began his career as a left-winger and was plucked from Serie C side Legnano by the legendary Coach Fulvio Bernardini, then at Cagliari. He converted Riva to centre forward but it was his successor, the late Manlio Scopigno, who reaped the rewards. Riva was Serie A capocannoniere on three occasions - in 1967, 69 and 70 - as the unfashionable islanders were turned from also-rans to one of Italy’s top sides.
(...)
Not for the first time Riva was being linked with a move to one of the big clubs - Juventus reputedly offered Cagliari a whopping £3m for his services - but he stayed at the Sant’Elia
STAR RATING 9/10 The Azzurri’s all-time top scorer and the key to Italy’s European Championship victory in 1968. Almost single handedly won Cagliari their first and only Scudetto with his pace, power and presence in front of goal.

If we can hold on to the 2nd place in the competition I'd say we've had an excellent season. The team has grown a lot and several youngsters have shown that they have what it takes to take on Europe's best.
Now just hope Ajax won't sell out. But I don't think they will.

The Earthquakes are doing good so far, we are first place but the season just started. We sold 3 solid players to Europe and S.America, and we aquired some xGalaxative players and they are starting to work out, my only concern is our goalkeeper, we had a dope Keeper in Cannon, but we sold him to Lens, but first place, i cannot complain.

AEK Athens are in third place trailing Olympiakos by 2 points (in second) and Panathinaikos by 5 points. They have one match left with PAO and are on a good streak. Few matches remain but a good shot at the Champions League. Remember, AEK drew 6 times in the CL this past season, 2 times to Real Madrid (game in Athens, the blew a 3-1 lead and in Mardrid, they trailed 2-0 and came back in the dying minutes to tie) 2 draws against Roma (the game in Athens they should have won) and drew Genk (i think) twice. Both games we should have won. Oh well. It was a nice run and should have advanced in the UEFA Cup if they didn't have their heads up you know where.

Here is my take on Real Betis Balompie who play in Spains first division.
Typical year, start off great (4th place after first half of the season) and then take a swoon in play due to (fill in the blanks). 6 games left and chances of making UEFA Cup are slim to none. The incorporation of Marcos Assuncao and Fernando have been key to the Betis team this year. The bad everything else including the Presidents staying in power for another year without any evidence of him stepping down anytime soon.
Saludos y viva er beti manque Lopera!

The 2002 -2003 season was a great success for Celtic. We started the season with just 2 players from the last years side which was relegated from the Conference. After a slow start we caught fire just before Christmas and finished a credible 4th and won the Unibond President's Cup. We also remained unbeaten against are local rivals and again established ourselves as the Pride of Tameside.
The best thing about this season is that Dave Miller and players have restored pride in the shirt and given the fans hope for next season , when I'm confident we'll go up.

we did pants. i believe we are the worst premier league side ever now, and have gone through 3 managers in one season.
plus our only decent player knackered his cruciate early on. how depressing.

Fredrikstad won promotion to Norway's second highest division. Plans of the new stadium further postponed which means wooden terraces on three sides also for the next couple of seasons. Generally a good season.
