I will be in London over the weekend of the FA Cup 5th Round. I would like to obtain tickets to see Chelsea on Saturday (or Watford if I can't get Chelsea tickets). I have been to Stamford Bridge twice before on previous holidays, but those were for lesser matches.

Per the FA's website, this year's cup competition has been the most popular in years. Nonetheless, Chelsea appears to price FA Cup matches lower than Premiership matches.

Will 5th Round matches be popular and sold out? What are my chances of actually being able to obtain these tickets?

Thanks in advance to all that respond.

I don't think the info on those tickets is out yet. You might have to stay tuned. Its not a great tie for neutrals - you may be able to get tickets.

I did notice that the ticket info wasn't up on the website, and wanted to know if anyone had any insight on whether tickets would be available for non-members or if members would snatch up all the tickets leaving me with nothing. As I mentioned, I was able to get tickets to EPL matches in 1998 and in 2002, but in both instances Chelsea were playing crap opponents (a win over Coventry in 1998 and a loss to Southampton in 2002). I'm assuming that tickets to the upcoming 5th Round match will be a little more difficult to come by.

From my experience, which only involves one game (away at Spurs) I could only get a ticket through Craigslist. No one in nay of our UK offices was remotely anywhere near being a help (Apparently they couldn't even get me in the Spurs section, despite a few people being Spurs members) and a few people on here attempted to get tickets, but weren't able to.

I got a response on Craigslist quickly, PayPaled the money and got the tickets sent to one of my UK offices. The tickets were essentially twice the face value (80 pounds, which is like $160 these days), but I got in!

(Unfortunately we lost.. oh well..)

I'd imagine getting tickets to a home game wouldn't be very hard/expensive.
