West Ham made a formal statement on their web site today that NO offer had been made for Darren Bent; it's really amazing how wrong almost all the media sources are about these alleged offers, including every paper and Sky Sports etc! The gossip items are simply figments of the imagination of second rate uninformed ' reporters'. I must admit I read all this stuff, but I wish someone would analyze just how many predictions have been right or wrong!
