With all the comings this transfer window, then a clean out is going to happen at the end of the season. I'm assuming that we stay up and my thoughts are that our squad could look like this for 2007/8

Goalkeepers

Green
Carroll
?

Defenders

Gabbidon
Collins
Neill
McCartney
Spector
Davenport
Upson
?


Midfielders

Noble
Yossi
Bowyer
Quashie
Boa-Morte
Reid
?
?


Strikers

Ashton
Cole
Tevez
Kepa
?
?

I see room for 6 more. If you note the omissions such as

Ferdinand
Harewood
Mullins
Zamora
Masher
Newton
Dailly
Konchesky
Reo-Coker

These guys with the exception of Sheringham (likely to retire), Dailly and Newton, would all generate significant income which is going to have to happen to balance the books for the purchases already made and I think the likely addition of Upson and a couple more.

Any thoughts anyone?

Ah yes they were that Cod!
And Mooro certainly knew how to Plaice the ball. They knew how to rough it up and all, many a Goalie having played against Hurst could complain about being battered. But it was a real team playing for a real club, you could fillet in the air. There's no Skating round the fact we've fallen from grace since then. Frankly, I'm gutted.
