I know that a lot of it is press speculation but think you would agree that some of our offers (so-called) have had a touch of desparation about them. Do we really want Hermann Munster from Charlton and whilst I like Upson, there is no way he is worth anything like the 8 million supposedly offered.

I think we should work at getting the players we have fit and then work their arses off to stay in the EPL!

It appears that Ashton will probably not have a part to play this season anyway so I would be more inclined to get him spot-on for next season.
