well, since JT won't play, I assume, same backline as the game yesterday. Benny Mcarthy has been playing really well for Rovers as of late, so I could see him causing us some problems. Still, we should win this game.

I think it's pretty remarkable that JT might be back this weekend.

I hope Shevchenko starts tomorrow, Chelsea games are always more enjoyable to watch when he's on IMO. I think it's because I want to see him suceed, so every goal he gets I get pretty excited.

I've been following him since A.C. Milan, probably only reason I started watching Chelsea. I have a feeling he'll bring me alot more excitement soon. Maybe even tomorrow :)

I think he will start tomorrow. After the Wycombe game, Jose said that Sheva had earned the start against Forest and that if he performed well he'd continue to play. Sheva scored in that game, so I predict Jose will stick to his word and let him start.

anybody want to take a crack at tomorrow's line-up,

Grahm Poll:eek:

I expect:

-----------Cech------
Geremi---ESS--Carv---Cole
----------Mak---------
-----Lamp------Mikel
----------Ballack-----
-----Drogba---Sheva

Kalou, PF, Bridge, SWP, Carlo/Hilario

If it was me I'd have Bridge and Cole at full backs and Kalou instead of Mikel or Ballack.

Edit: I started this reply an hour ago than got distracted by basketball not trying to plagerize the post above but great minds and all that

-----------Cech-------------
Geremi---Essien--Carv---Cole:(
----------Maka--------------
SWP-----Ballack-----Lampard
-----Drogba---Sheva--------

Kalou, Mikel, Bridge, Paolo, Hilario.

not what i want to see, but i think they'll line up like that. right now i'd rather have Mikel & Bridge for Ballack & A.Cole.

It is difficult to be certain because Nottingham Forest were so poor on Sunday, but A midfield of Lamps and Mikel looks much more balanced then one with Lamps and Ballack.

At least he can't book or send off Terry this time

Don't sell Poll short, he will probably red card JT for sitting improperly

I hope Mikel gets some serious minutes in this game, preferably ahead of Ballack. He's certainly earned it.

Diarra at RB

I like rewarding him for good play, but is that really the best spot for him?

No width at all. We are actually starting 5 CM's counting Essien at CB. Mikel only gets chalk on his feet if he drags his toe leaving the pitch for halftime.

I'd prefer more width. If Bridge can play Left Mid for his country, then he sure as hell can handle it for his club. I fear we will see a clogged middle today and very little offense. Chelsea will probably do what it takes to get the 3 pts, though.
