There are UEFA rules preventhing teams from bringing in players under a certain age if the players are not from Europe. But if he really wants him, there should be no limit to how much we spend on him. If you have seen the clips of him running through 6 players all within the box, your jaw just drops.

I hope Adu keeps away from ManU while he's young.

Its the fear of him being like Kirvoski. Didn't he come through this youth system?

Well, I must say that I never thought that I would hear Adu compared to Kirovski.

Manure system did just fine developing Becks, Giggs and Scholes.

You need to look at Ajax.

Kirovski went downhill after he LEFT ManUtd. He was ranked right up with Beckham, Scholes and co and Fergie wanted to keep him but then the work permit issue came up. He went to Dortmund. I wonder if he would had progressed more if he would have been able to remain at United.

You need to look at Ajax. I think your notion was definately true 20-30 years ago - Ajax had the best youth system. I'm not so sure that is true anymore. I base it on the quality of players, the value added to the team, and the ability to sell/integrate these players and, to me, Ajax hasn't done better than Man Utd.

I think the problem is that Ajax has to sell many of their players off because they cannot afford to keep them, while we have the money to keep most of our products.
