So I want to go to the tornament, I live in Australia and will be 18 when it takes place. I'm 17 now. What sort of things will be in the application form, and what are the odds of getting, say, a TST-6 ticket for Holland? Or any sort of ticket for them.

If you don't get tickets do many people sell them on ebay (I saw some during Germany 06 with people who claimed they were eligable for a name change).

Thanks.

Me again :) See the other thread (somewhere) for application form clues.

My experience so far is that Euro 2004 was pretty easy to get tickets for (except the final, maybe, although I wasn't seriously trying for that) and WC 2006 was a nightmare but with real effort you could get roughly what you wanted eventually.

The European Championship is *much* less glamorous than the World Cup, so I'm sure tickets won't be so hard to obtain as they were last year. On the other hand, Austria and Switzerland are more central than Portugal so it's handier for a lot more fans, therefore might be trickier than 2004.

Worry about the ebay thing later.

good luck getting a TST for Holland ... I was lucky enough to score a ticket to their match with S&M in Leipzig this summer ... one of the best experiences of my life ... I would love to be able to score a ticket to another oranje match at EURO2008 ... but I think I am just going to put my name in the lottery and see what I get instead of waiting for the december draw and then trying to get tickets ...
