Alright enough with the nonsense lets get back to talking about transfers

I say that we forget this nonsense about OVERPAYING for Hargreaves, even though I like the guy, and just focus on getting Gareth Bale right now, and building our bid for Fernando Torres for the summer transfer window. THAT is the transfer that we are REALLY going to need to be aggresive for. Once the summer transfer window opens it is going to be open warfare for Fernando's signature. Hargreaves on the other hand, we could put out a bid the first day of the transfer period and they will appriove it in less than hours later. And I bet that if we do that, we will NOT have to pay over 20 million pounds for his signature.

On the other hand, I feel that even though Owen is cuptied I think that he will seriously help us win the EPL title, also I feel that if we grab him now then we can focus ALL of our attention on nabbing Fernando Torres.

We need a midfielder more than we need Torres or Bale. So why should we push for those two first?

You said you bet that we can put in our first bid and they'd accept it. Have you not been paying attention? They've already rejected one bid for us last summer, and they dont want to sell him.

Your obessession with Torres is fine, but you have to be smart and realistic. We have a priority, and Torres isnt at the top of the list as far as I can see.

Phil Bardsley is fine if Villa make his loan deal a purchase. I am a bit sad to see this happen, as Bardsley played well in that spell last year when G.Neville was injured. However, everyone seems to rate Simpson as a better RB (I haven't seen enough of him) so I guess Fergie would be ok with this as well.
