I'm sure everyone in the team feels like I have this week: can't wait for the next United game to get the Arsenal one out of our system. What better than a grand cup all-prem clash to do it in?
I predict Sir Alex will rest a few players, my guess is Park starts, as does Fletcher, and maybe we see Louis and Ole up front.
I'm at Old Trafford for this one :) South Stand, lower tier, yards from the bench.

Rooney be rested, as should Ronaldo. Park and Giggs or Fletcher on the wings. Carrick and Scholes in midfield. Wes Brown at rightback.
Upfront?

I'd involve Solskjaer and Larsson up front, though I don't know about that partnership. I hardly think we'd throw Alan Smith into the mix, though I have no clue what his fitness level is at.

I want Saha to start and I agree about Rooney and Ronaldo getting some rest, especially Rooney.

I think this is the perfect scenario to start Rossi up front, oh wait....

Put me down as another who'd like to see Saha up front, very disappointed he didn't start against Arsenal and if I were him it would have felt like a kick in the teeth.

That is my first thought when I see Larsson started against Arsenal. I wonder how that affects Saha to see an on loan player starts in his place in one of the biggest game of the season.

Played 90 for the reserves today so doubt he'll figure in this one.

I think.. we should be careful about underestimating Portsmouth..
'arry knows how to get at us and he exploits weak links very well...
Let's not go overboard on the personnel for this one..

In that case, maybe Fletcher better start.

I think he should anyways. He started out the season in great form, but has hardly gotten on the teamsheet since.

Too soon for Dong. I would rest Neville, Giggs and Rooney for this one. Maybe Scholesy as well...

Saha, Fletch, Heinze, Brown and Park need to get some starts. I'm leaving both Old Man Scholes and Old Man Neville in -- Scholesy to continue to hone the midfield magic with Carrick, and Neville to regroup after his lack of leadership last weekend.

Think back to last season, similar situation with a certain in form forward of ours. At least Saha knows Larsson won't be here for much longer.

In addition, Saha is just coming back from an injury. I'd be surprised if Larsson starts every game from now until his return to Sweden. He needs to acclimate to his teammates (a very easy job for him) and get some games in order to be ready for Europe, but Saha is the horse we'll be riding down the stretch and he needs to get in there.

I would like Saha to start aswell, This wont be easy or a tough game, so we gotto go straight into it.

I would like SAF to play Gabby in hes natural position, just to see how he goes. Rest all the veterans and I wouldnt want to rest Ronaldo, hes still on fire and let it continue. Hey anyone who watched the reserv game, how did dong do?
