1. Change it CONCACAF Champions League = CCL.
2. 16 team with initial group stage of 4 groups
(4 Mexican, 3 MLS, 2 Costarican, 4 Rest of Central America, 1 Carribean, 2 from playoffs by Central America and Carribean)
3. Winner goes to the FIFA World Club Championship.
4. Winner and the Runner-Up goes to the Copa Libertadores.

Good. Mostly Similar ideas.
Just a couple of things.
Let each league decide who'll represent their league.
We don't care which Mexican teams as long as they get 4 spots.
Canada is part of MLS, I think no need for seprate spot for Canada.
Also, no spot for USL. If a USL team wants to play in the highest competition such as CCC and possibly CWC, then join MLS.
Same goes for the non-MLS Canadian teams.
Also, I would like to add Prize for the Champion = 1M, Runnerup = .5M

For the Canadian spot, i was trying to make it cover as many countries, rather than actual leagues.
The Championship prize should be a little higher, maybe $5 million, runnerup gets $1.5 million. Considering if they get enough sponsorship, they should be able to pocket enough and still drop $5 million on the winner.

LOL, the Islanders still would get to play, even if they are in the USL Div 1. See the team is signed in in the Puerto Rican federation not the US fed, which is also the reason why we cant play in the US Open Cup. Being that the Islanders have a B team playing in Puerto Rico's League, the B team almost sertenly is in the top four teams in the Island, right now its the current champion. But because the Chamapion and the runner up of this National PR tournament, get to play in the CFU CC we can still qualy for the CCC :)
I love loop holes.

I'm curious where are you going to get those Copa Lib spots from?

I beg to differ, each association has the right to enter its own teams. Be it Canada or Puerto Rico.

Why should a team be entitled to enter the Confederation championship if they, say for example, finish fifth in the MLS Eastern Division?

Also, I posit that four-team mini groups is the worst thing to happen to club tournaments since the ending of the replay in the FA Cup
A group of meaningless games at the end of the first round is not what the CCC needs to generate interest.

We discussed this closely on the Toronto FC board (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=457691)
1. As a team affiliated with the CSA Toronto can not represent the USSF in a CONCACAF competition.
2. Canadian teams need their own access to the competition, such as a Canadian Cup.

As far as I know the prize for the superliga is $1 million not a trip to the Copa Lib.

I have not seen anybody officially associated with the Superliga mention spots in the Copa Lib. What I have seen is a bunch of Bigsoccer posters who claim to have insider knowledge claiming that. So forgive me if I don't put much faith in those posts.

Besides teams participate at least in Copa Sudamericana sort of based on CCC performacne already.

Looks like Toluca earned a spot as 2006 CONCACAF Champions' Cup Runner-Up

No, Toluca earned a spot based on winning the Mexican league. However, that is how LDA got in.

So how about build some more concrete relationship between CONCACAF and CONMEBOL, and send 3 top teams to COP Lib. and next 3 top teams to COP Sud. from CCC.

You're not answering my question. You answer that they can enter, I'm asking:
Why should a low-to-mid table team be able to enter the CCC solely because they are located across the border?
