Enough of this Nike talk, here are real great news. ;)

Women football at Werder

From next season on Werder will also have a women soccer team.
The woman team will start in the 4th German league, coach
will be former women BL coach Frank Schwalenberg (coached FSV Frankfurt).
Schwalenberg:"I have worked since many years as women coach.
To coach a team from my home town is an interesting challenge for me."
Stadium will be the one of Werders cooperation partner
TuS Schwachhausen at the Konrad-Adenauer-Allee.
Birte Brüggemann will be responsible for the youth teams,
the Werder B-youth (younger 17 years old) will propably play
in a boys league, because in Bremen there aren´t many girls teams.
She says:"This is a perspective for women football in Bremen.
It will boost the performance of the good local players.
The whole women football in Bremen will profit from it."

maybe Bremen is destined to win the title...we won it last year and lost to Hamburg twice i believe...and Bremen once so its not like we beat the best clubs and still won it all

well i think we just didnt capitalize on our opportunities and they did. Simple as that. We had probably 5 chances in the second half alone where we SHOULD have scored, not could have, SHOULD have. They had a couple and they scored on them. I still believed we played well (minus Wome, hes on a pretty bad streak if you notice)

I still have faith that we can win the title, we just need to work on putting the ball in the net on our chances

I think Werder would look good in Reebooks, preferably the red ones Bolton wears.

I like werder's current uniforms a lot.

both the home and away kits.

they're orignial and have an old-school sort of touch to them.

100% Agree! Current Werder Kappa home and away are the best kit designs in the world

Best of luck to you guys against Ajax tomorow.

You guys got one of the toughest draws but a bunch of their defenders will be out so you can take advantage.

Prove why you guys are the team to beat in the UEFA Cup!

Team to beat, pah.

After the last performances i would be happy,
if we won´t loose the match.

I am not very optimistic, but perhaps
last week was a wake-up-call.

I hope it's going to be a good game to watch. I'm a bit surprised by the lack of confidence though, as I think Werder obviously is the stronger side.

Of course, an upset is possible for us but I'm very worried and nervous for this match. We're missing a few, and had to fill the squad with a few from the youth.

Good luck to both of us, al though we need the most of it. :)

Man EE. You look like you feel as badly about Werder as we BVB fans do about Borussia right now.

Hang in there man. You guys will be back strong. Hopefully, starting tonight.
