Despite him having a disappointing season, he's still top scorer in the Bundesliga...
Man I'd love to be that disappointing :p

The luck weŽll need. I believe, that Werder is normally the better team,
but with the injury problems against a compact team with good offense like AZ,
this wonŽt be easy. Last week i cheared more for it, but with Mertes injury
and all of our left defenders, it will intersting to see the starting line-up.
With the unexperienced defense i am sure, that AZ will score,
so the offense and especially Miro must improve their performance
to reach the next round.

To all
Lets hope for a wide open game--and the ref plays no part in the outcome

Well, as I've been saying since last week, I thought I saw some signs of life from Miro in the FCN match.......

Werder will need to put pressure on AZ, yet also be wary of getting a goal against them. Shame to see so many injuries on Werder side, but I still expect a good game from them.
Tough job though. Pressure seems to be on Bremen mostly, but anything can happen as both teams are also competing for the national title.

2-1 HT. AZ had a goal dissalowed, shame.
Werder look the better side so far, but AZ might still snatch an equalizer. Good stuff.

I believe that Werder is a great team. Capable of playing very well.
Despit the injuries I think the team should win.
You are among the three most powerful teams in the UEFA cUP
