Lots of new faces coming into the team, must say that im pleased with the signings so far, with Ashton back next month, things ,i think, are looking good,my worry is ,it's takes time for new players to jell into a team, time is getting short,we have to start getting results, personally i dont care about the cup, although a win will build up confidence,a big test coming against the micky mousers, another draw will not do!!

Yes and as far as the Mousers go, i have just booked a flight back to Blighty on short notice and i cant get a ticket to that game for blood nor money (well it was'nt going to be my blood anyway).I may just stand outside the ground for the vibe anyway.

The other thing about our new in-comings is that we may have paid them huge wages, but it hasnt cost us an arm and a leg up front. If we survive this nightmare we should still have money in the kitty for Curbs to play with.

Considering what we are supposed to have to spend, i think we have done very well. Don't believe the 70,000 a week wages its just over 40,000, thats absurd i know. It seems when West Ham break the bank the media jump on it with nothing but lies. If it were the big 4 or Spuds it wouldn't make the news.

I like the fact that West Ham have people like Lucas who was austrailia's captan and Yossi who is Israel's captan, Boa I understand was captan of his club before moving here. That's great.

I do feel like all these players WHU is buying are good, but will it not be better to buy one or two really big great players rather than a handful of good ones, or am I see'ing this all wrong?

I think AC is still working on the big names. SWP, Ljungberg (maybe), Lauren and Young have all turned us down.

Young may not be a big name but he potentially is one for the future.

So who is left? What big name(s) should we be going for?

Good luck to Wycombe tonight BTW. Really hope they stuff the Chelski.

We're buying ,i think ,very good players that can play at this level, just because you go and buy super stars for 30 million, does'nt mean they can play in this league, ask them west london wa**ers he he

True. I suppose when you know the manager has a large budget you just automatically expect some big names.

According to this article Eggy reckons we could have three or four more players coming in. This was before Neill and Blanco were confirmed so we could see up to two more.

Blanco looks good with his head but rubbish with his feet!! The exact opposite of what we have now. He doesn't shy away from an aerial challenge though and we need that:

West Ham. No he doesn't. He puts his head where others wouldn't put their worst enemy. I wonder what his IQ is? Lol:rolleyes:

Low enough to play for us in relegation scrap so he'll do for me.:)

SWP is really quick which is great,,,,but I haven't seen him play that much and from what I saw, I did not see his shots have alot of power. Perhaps his quickness would be a good addition to Ashton.

Ljungberg would be a great addition, I think the kid is strong and I would say the he will definently bring something dangerous to our opponents.

This australian captan better bring some stability to our defense, we can use it.

as for the kid from la liga, it's a coin toss for me, , , the spanish league play a very open wide game, lots of counters and one on one situations. Some players who come to the epl do well, others lack the ability to find the instances to attack and score. Hopefully for WHU he is one.

SWP looks quick and sharp when he plays, but he has looked disappointing for Chelsea this season. Also he has managed to get himself a reputation for going down too easily, sometimes diving. This isn't helped by his small stature when he is up against a heavy full back.

I wonder if the influence of playing for Chelsea has upped his ego a bit and we are starting to see a bit of arrogance creeping in. I hope not as he could be a good player but right now I don't think he is surrounded by the right people enough to make the right career decisions, so I suspect he may be another potential superstar who will fade away.

I think you may well be right. Bloody shame but money does do this to players.

Kepa looks good from the video. Just hope he doesn't find the prem a bit to hard.
